Looks very nice visually, but I dont trust Crytek 100% right now. They showed excellent cinematic of the Marius entering colloseum to fight, and then, gameplay of that same section looks MUCH MUCH worse.

Also, I really dont feel much about combat. Their focus on slowdowns for each execution is frustrating, it breaks the flow of the game constantly. Switch from Kinect-based gameplay to gamepad did not went smoothly....

XBO - CoD:G

So tempted to add another game to the XBO list. But Ryse, KI (full purchase) and Forza all look so good. I have to admit, MS has really been pushing a strong message lately.

Looks fantastic but don't like the ghosts direction, why can't we just have a full roman experience .

Because Marius entering Colosseum in MP trailer was not real-time [they even wrote it in that part on the trailer]. It was more showcase what CE 3.5 can do in much, much powerful hardware in real-time.

This trailer is completely real-time and every scene from it, was rendered by Xbone.

God, cant imagine how would CryEngine games look on 3-4 times more powerful hardware.

Also scene when Marius jumps from mud looks outstanding [last few seconds]. Need gamersyde quality video, BlimBlim do it!

No way in hell that anyone would call archers to deploy the arrows with "FIRREEE!"

It would probably be something along the line of "launch" or "shoot" (inmitto, but sagittent most probably).. but "fire" (ignis/impes)... no way Crytek.

I do wonder if it is a NPC that you do some missions with, or some kind of enemy that appears to chase you if you let too many soldiers die. Kinda like the ghost in Spelunky if you take too long.

I think the gameplay footage shown so far is a good enough indicator on the quality of this game. Looks yawn worthy.
