Just got home from work and see this, very very nice. Especially, considering this is a launch game and originally kinect 360 game.

I have enjoyed countless hack n' slash action games with QTEs. As long as the game itself is great, then I'll have no problem. Judging by what I'm seeing, playing this is going to make me feel something like:

I am more than OK with that.

I am looking forward to watching this game on YouTube or something. It's not enough to sell me on a $500 machine, but I will watch it for sure.

Just so that everyone knows, the footage from that video has been rendered/captures from a PC version. It isn't from a Xbone. In game is much worse.

Not trolling just passing on what I've seen myself from playing the game.

You played the Gamescom multiplayer demo. This is single player.

You've played the final version?

Wow! Color me impressed; not even the developers have done that.

Oh word? Which level of the campaign did you play exactly? How many times did you have to press 'A' to win?

Looks amazing.

I could see the gameplay footages in some parts of the video. Aren't those the one posted in another thread where there were lots of clipping?

What sort of differences did you notice? Stuff like edges looking less "defined" and lower quality texture filtering might not surprise me. One thing I've liked about the most recent HQ Forza footage is that it made some of the visual shortcomings a little more "visible" (though overall looking impressive, nonetheless.) This footage looks incredible, so a little "nudge" toward realism wouldn't surprise me here.

That said, that's a pretty specific claim, and one that doesn't quite make sense with the way I understand dev kits work with regard to playable builds. If a mod could verify your connection, it would make things a bit clearer for me.

Think of it as this.

The GTA5 trailers were very nice. Super sharp textures, no jaggies at all and super smooth framerate.

But in realty, GTA5 on the consoles doesn't look the same as in the trailer. It still looks very nice but clearly the trailers have been rendered/captures on a PC version that has been upped for marketing purposes.

What I'm saying is, don't expect that what you see in that OP video is what gameplay graphics will look like come release day. Just like at E3 and other big events, clearly the PC version has been used for better marketing.

So you have no evidence to back up your claim? Just based on assumptions?

You better be ready to back your credentials man.

Some details would be nice. When did you play the game? Was it single player or multiplayer? What build was it?

Would be incredible if it doesn't rely on QTE. I sure hope not and just uses the sticks for combat kind of like Fight Night

The QTE's Are executions moves that are purely optional. You recieve things like heath when you preform them.

GTA5 has a PC version that releases early next year
RYSE is XB1 exclusive, no PC version to do what your talking about

If you actually worked close enough to the source to have access to the info you're giving out, this would be the last response you would possibly give. Your "answer" falls into the category of wishful rationalization. That's very different from what you were saying you were imparting here. Whether or not it ends up being true, based on your words, you're full of it.
