I think the sides are switching this gen. EA is pretty cozy with Microsoft right now (Titanfall, Battlefield-timed DLC, FIFA being a bonus for the X1 in Europe - if that deal is still going on, that is)... meanwhile Activision seems to be getting cozier with Sony (Destiny exclusive DLC to PS).

Nothing has switched with regard to Call of Duty. The deal between Activision and Microsoft in terms of marketing and timed exclusive content is still in place for the XB1.

Interesting development. I hope that the lack of third party game footage for the Xbox One isn't an indication of huge issues. Either way, my PS4 is going to be my go-to third party machine. I'm getting the Xbox One for dem exclusives, for which we fortunately have seen footage.

Who ever said I wasn't a fan boy? Everybody knows I'm a fan boy and have a preferred system, but Sony still makes gaming experiences and that's what I care about most.
I think they consider BF4 more of a threat than Titanfall. Both are competing for consumer dollar in the same time frame. Titanfall is far away from that.
Nobody got Jeff, he's been in the MS camp for as long as I can remember. He never has anything good to say about Sony's 1st party lineup, and has stated that he doesn't care much for any of their franchises. He dotes on Gears, Forza, and Halo, while shitting on GT, Killzone, and Resistance in the same breath.

Things will start equal next gen on that front.

Competition is always good for the market, the sleeper though is what exactly is Blizzard working on for next gen? Everybody knows that they have a project in the pipeline but Nobody, has any clue except for Blizzard. That project is under lock and key. Though I agree, I think they see B4 as a thread. Though Titanfall could suck away play time from CoD if they decided to release a DLC pack around that time. Pretty clever tactic from EA to be honest.

I feel like he has a certain affinity for xbox as well. It is however interesting in one of the podcasts they explained why they almost always review the 360 version of games. I wish I had the episode number. Basically 2 reasons.
1. Publishers/Developers send them the best looking/running version of the game
2. Sony's weird content management system makes it a pain in the ass for them to transfer their saves/games from system to system. Basically a matter of convenience
The latter they claimed is how most in the industry feel

Out of the way? Unless your some resurrected GAF member I read you as having a lot to learn(as do I). Almost all of us have preferred systems. Calling someone out for having both is kind of weak. Heck, I even own a 3DS and have over 80 games on steam lol(T_T). I love Nintendo games as well. Been playing pokemon like crazy lately. It's all good brotha.
Yeah, that's a good point. Titanfall appeals to the giddy kid in all of us. They certainly can market them selves as the next evolution in shooting and all reports indicate that it lives up to all the hype. Some of my most favorite games on the OG Xbox were the mech warrior games. Good times. Combine that with fast past combat, and legendary developers? Who doesn't want that lol. Well said man.

Honestly most of those guys just seem uninterested. Jeff tries to stay neutral, however he always bashes Sony 1st party every chance he gets. Vinny is the only one who even brings up next gen lately, and that's because he wants to play BF4 with his family and they're getting a PS4. I did hear Jeff say a couple of times that the PS4 will most likely run multiplatform games at a higher resolution.

Isn't that only for the first map pack(which is just a pack of reskinned BF3 maps[I think])? I thought the rest of BF4 DLC will be out the same time across all platforms.

That's a pretty weak answer by Jeff. The reason behind their showing almost all multiplats off on PS4 HW is pretty easy to see and has been answered (more accurately) in this thread already.
