It probably won't, I think I've seen screenshots with both sharpening filter and without for W3 before, it seems like someone fucked with photoshop rather than it being an actual post processing filter ingame.
Wjat are you referring to?
I feel colors and sharpening very unrealistic and the lighting isn't very good, except for the second forest screen.
I noticed it's the same stuff of january, is the game making progress?

I know we have to factor in the scope and all that but these screens are not looking that much better than the Witcher 2.

I remember official Witcher 2 screens looking worse than the actual game too.

Not bad, but it's not that better than the Witcher 2 which I'm replaying currently. The impressive part is that we get W2 visuals in an open world title.

I still haven't played Witcher 2 because I didn't think my system is good enough to run it at absolute maximum settings. I think I'll end up playing 2 and 3 one after the other after I get a new video card.
Well that and I still have not finished Witcher 1. I restarted it at least 5 times. I decided last night to jump in where my last saved game was in the swamps (actually I first played a new game for 45 minutes to figure out how to play) and had no idea what was going on... which makes sense considering the date on the saved game was 2009. Looks pretty good with supersampling though. The textures even in the first game are great despite everything else looking terrible in comparison to the third game (especially the animation)

It's Dropbox fault, if you want to see the real image click with the right mouse click and select "View Original". It compresses the PNGs in a strange way.

So far this gen it seems the reveal trailers are ultra high quality, AA, yadda yadda. Then the first batch of next screens start to show a bit of ... unpolished material. Jaggies more apparent, less detail, etc. Seems to have been that way with every single game.
So far I think Res0gun and Killzone are the only 2 that have impressed from the word Go and have never stopped. All the others have had issues at some point.
They look almost like concept art it is so ... odd looking lol. Are those real?
