Yeah I was hoping for some trully apocalyptic shit, disappointed really.
Even if it had been windy though, I'd probably have still ended up at work.

I like the red because it fits with the Nintendo thing for bright colours and Mario.
But then the blue is a little less....in your face?
But then my black DSi looks so sexy. Though am I right in thinking that the 3DS Xls bodies have a slight gloss to them compared to DSis?

I think the Zelda one looks super tacky on the inside. I'll never understand why Zelda = gold; I've always considered the series' defining colour to be an earthy green.
Love the camouflage Luigi XL though.

Back in the good old days it was all about dat gold cartridge on NES & N64. Gold gameboy just looks ugly though. I'm going through the same thing as Old Man right now trying to decide what to get. I might just grab the cheap Black Friday 3DSXLbundle and save some money.

That's my other option: wait until our crappy BF comes around, and pray for a good deal. In the mean time I've got plenty to be playing at least.
Then again with the 2DS there isn't much incentive to discount the XL, which makes me think £140-£150 isn't a terrible price.

If I was being frugal first and foremost I would totally jump on the 2DS. But...as much as I hate to be vain it's just so fucking ugly without the clamshell design. It just really bothers me to not be able to close it. I guess for the target audience it looks just like the leap pad and table shit they are used to but it just kills me.

If you're buying a 3DS I recommend getting the one that actually has fucking stereoscopic 3D.
it can look as awful as it likes, it's still the best bet for me to get atlus games in a reasonable timeframe

It's neat. Enough games put it to good use (Luigi's Mansion 2 and Mario 3D Land being the prime examples) that it's worth having. Link Between Worlds looks like it's going to have some fun with the depth too.
anyway it's only one of the many reasons you shouldn't buy the Lego 3DS
yea but its dirt cheap, i could save up the money from coins i find on the floor to import one with SMTIV before that game gets a euro release

It's on 40D now, they're airing it a week earlier. Just watched it, it was ok, some good parts but not up to its great standards yet.

Cool, gonna check it out tonight after work. I really enjoyed S1 and thought the show was going places but S2 felt like it was cheap Skins clone. Expectations are set to super low for S3.
Judging by reactions to Emeiem's new tracks his new album isn't going to be quite the Marshall Mathers LP 2 as he hyped it up to be.

It's just the PS3 repeated: previous market leader high on the sound of their own voice squanders good will by being arrogant, expensive and having bloated hardware.
