I hope she dies soon.

From the preview,
Hana-chan has grown to Doremi and everyone else and is going to be in their class and is going to be an Ojamajo.
I really, really don't know how I feel about that. For the moment, I'm skeptical.

Well I haven't started Dokkaan! since I finished Naisho, so there's nothing for me to say here.

The boke and tsukkomi routine strikes me as something limiting, which is what I thought all manzai was. How do solo acts work?

Keep in mind I'm not saying whether one is better or worse than the other, just that there's limits to a routine that requires a straight man and a funny man just like there are limits to a routine that only has one person.

Solo acts are rare. They usually just do a succession of gags or so. I haven't seen a solo act that took very long unless its one of those "tell a long funny story" acts.

So I'm siting in the office right now and one of my 3rd years, a super-popular-with-the ladies-kind-hearted-senpai just helped his 1st year kouhai who was also in the office and seemingly confused.

I'm pretty sure I heard the schoolgirls squealing in the hall or something. Hahaha.

Sempai finally noticed him.

So much suki.

Miuna is adorable but she should stop running off on her own because then Sayu doesn't get any screentime and those two are most adorable when they're together.

So, should I put the books on my Amazon wish list?

I enjoyed them quite a bit. The conceit is they investigate events/mysteries that are somehow tied into a work of literature. Like, for example, the first book is about some suicidal dude and the book Ningen Shikkaku "No Longer Human" (or something, in English)

Its a cut above, quality-wise, from your standard LNs.

You know this talk about AOTY thread is some kind of prestigious event starting to annoy me, you guys gonna hand Gold Trophy to Hosoda or something? Cool.

If its getting to the point you guys cooking thing so the result gonna favorable to few select people that posting in this thread, then what's the point? Ridiculous.

I haven't been around recently. What makes KLK so objectionable to you, Brandy?

I can't really say much since I purport to enjoy KnK but I really disliked the goddamn uniform mechanic in KLK. I plan on watching more but that was my initial impression.

Eh, its just a fun thing we do to goof around. I don't think anyone actually takes it seriously.

(checks up on wonzo bound and gagged in the basement)

Yup, everything in good fun.

So when is your shoujo manga coming out?

Maybe one day, I will watch Wolf Children while making references to Pokemon and having images of a fetish utilizing watermark techniques for authenticity.

Pretty much this.
I was thinking of watching Hyouka but I forgot nobody is streaming it. Oh well, probably would have dropped it anyway.
these are not acceptable answers.
wonzo, we're coming after you.
should have posted an angry "mob" of three people.

wolf children was a good movie, but it wasn't without fault and isn't something untouchable. there are some good shows this year and kill la kill is really coming into its own. be glad that something well made is popular.

The Light of El Cantare
"movie that nobody knows about" vs "loli pedoshit" vs "fanservice garbage". NONE of them will win AotY.

thanks

so its like zombie desu ka?

Not quite. Zombie Desu Ka is primarily a waky comedy anime. This is more of a slice of life that happens to feature supernatural beings and deals with accepting others into your heart and drama while also being lighthearted. If you have nothing better to watch, especially if you like cheesy romance, give it a watch it's decent enough.

edit: speaking of wolf children, I've never seen it but always see it highly rated. Exactly how good is it? Because while it does look good I don't know if I'd really be into a tale of self discovery of a mom learning to bond with her furry children. And that's what I get from the trailer.

Latest episode was about fluffy tails and butts. I must therefore regretfully disagree about this assessment.

And here I was hanging out with friends, it'll be the last time!

FINALLY some updates on the Witch Craft Works anime that was announced almost a year ago... and it seems it'll be airing in January 2014 as well!

I posted about this in more detail elsewhere but basically I think Imaishi's sense of humor is puerile, the writing is dumb and it's not what I'm looking for in anime. He directs his shows as if his audience is 13-year-old boys with short attention spans who just entered puberty.

On the bright side, Precure isn't going to get a vote.

More context on my Hyouka comment: I wouldn't say dropped in my case. It would be more like forgetting about it and putting it on hold considering I did that often during the summer.

I just didn't like how this talk keep repeated.

"There's show that supposed to be "overrated'
' cue up talk about didn't want the show get shit in AOTY"

Big fucking deal, captain.

So What if let say Attack on Titan winning? hell that result may serve purpose because that show which title that became hit on that year, than result that formed by cooking from by ringleader in this thread that actually not serve any purpose for survey which show that this board liked in that exact year.

At its heart, its about family and growing up and learning to say goodbye. The wolf thing is just a vehicle to delivery to overall allegory. Its really less about the mom and more about the children to be honest. Its the best anime movie I've seen this year (I've seen Kaze Tachinu).

just deal with attack on titan winning already
i refuse.

the way to say this without being insulting to people who like the show is to simply use the word "puerile".

but come on, the show is getting better like every week right now.
