The idea that you don't own the software on a disk but you do own a right to use the software is nothing new so 4.1 sounds ok.

AFAIK 7.1 isn't actually a contradiction to Sony's advertised stance in that they are still allowing used games and game lending HOWEVER they are saying you can't get any money from this unless Sony and/or the publisher of said game agree you can.

This is just goofy, but at the same time, I do wonder if had this been something buried in an Xbox One FAQ, how much differently things would be going. People would be on twitter calling for heads.
