The original MGS being remade in the new Fox Engine would be "shocking" but i seriously doubt the announcement is of that magnitude. Like many i expect a exclusive skin/dlc or something.

At E3 Kojima was asked by a Tukish guy that sneaked into secret backroom meeting and asked Kojima to make MGS1 and 2 in the Fox Engine. Kojima replied that they were already looking for a studio to do MGS1.
