Update: FIRMWARE UPDATE FIXES THE ISSUE

(or look up your particular Bravia model)
----------------------------------------------------------------
Looks like the PS4 doesn't play nice with my TV (Sony KDL-32EX400 [1080p]). The UI is extremely pixelated.
I've encountered this issue before with my PC if I set the NVidia output to anything but desktop.
And no, this is not an HDMI issue.
The TV is displaying 1:1. This is not a scaling/overscan or resolution issue. This is not a sharpness issue. It has to do with the scene type being reported by the PS4, which the TV reads and does not display properly. On the PC, this is fixed if I change the scene type to desktop.
User Listonosh has reported this issue as well.
