Gunzo method is intresting i sure wasn't expecting that , kongo method was also unexpected.. i like characters that can take unexpected moves to counter their opponents.

Hyuuga is totally crazy on iona , making small figurines show that she is really something else. This episode had plenty of talking but some nice trivia for the ships and the "fog" ... this was an intresting case for world building .

See you next week for the great evasive strategy !!

The thing about Jojo is that with every part, it gets less manly and more fabulous (although Part 2 is arguably very much both). And also much, much weirder.

Anyway, AnimeGAF, I haven't watched any anime since Saturday, because I've been hooked on GTA V. Should I watch some more Gintama or try to catch up on Yozakura Quartet?

  • Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari (Extremely awesome and also technically in the same meta-universe as Dual by a very contrived relationship)

  • ...at this point I can take you down a rabbit hole that will have you watching Gurren Lagann

That's an intresting way to handle this episode .

Ps: just read the first 5 volumes of the manga ..i advise anyone who like the anime to do the same untill this season ends( so many manga to anime changes , i might argue that some of those changes were for the better but still .... )

I had no idea these things were still being made. I remember playing with these as a kid. lol
They were made out of Styrofoam when I played them, but I have no idea if that's what they use now.

Easily best episode behind ep 5 and my favorite cold open so far. Senpai's brand of awkwardness and her million hair styles. Great neighbor character. Every new scene was just a new adorb thing for them to get up to.

Starting to tip the scales into being my favorite sol this year over kinmoza.

Well haven't really watched much anime since spring.
guess its about time to jump back in, though I think im going to start off with a rewatch of Higurashi.

I got my PS4 today. Set up the account and played a bit of Resogun and other free games. Will try my Killzone later on. Time to watch today's anime.

Meh I don't know, I have been holding off for two reasons.
1. Art - terrible AGE vibe which I could only stand for a single episode.
2. Doesn't look like the type of Gundam I want/enjoy(Wing, 0080, 08th)

definitely want to watch it at some point though.

The huge ass multilayered burger got a good laugh out of me. Ditto for the "Shazam!" gag again.

So one of the best songs I've heard in an anime is from Soredemo Machi. The fact they had an accordion in the band, and the rhythm of the singing, made it very gypsy like. Gogol Maidello.

I can't stand idol songs so this was a nice break from the norm.

My favorite thing about it is the live action version featuring the voice actresses.

Even more biking! All the terms are still foreign to me though this is still somehow enjoyable. The character backstory in the second half was a nice touch too.

They met when they were kids? Of course they did.

AAAUGH THE STOCK FOOTAGE AND THE HORRIBLE CGI, IT BURNS US.

Out of my system, now. Anyway, it feels like Madoka meets Captain Planet. I really, really don't trust Chris. He's either Satan or Jesus and either way he's being pretty darn sneaky here. Show spends an unhealthy amount of time teasing a tease of fanservice, I think. Either give or don't, don't bother me with this almost kind of not at all crap.

This show is going to be preachy as hell about everything, I can just tell. You don't show me CGI teenagers but take the time to animate a starving African child without giving away your plans a little bit. Plus they show insecticide as terrible right after showing a starving kid. Locusts or babies, take your pick, anime.

don't post here much but I just finished watching Welcome to the NHK and all I can say is wow that was something. pretty fun/adorable for the first 9 or so episodes but then once Sato
tells her that he's ending their meetings
it became a mixture of rage at his stupidity and depression resulting from the subject matter. it was like I was actually watching a story about real people and real problems and typical terrible anime characters with no depth that make terrible decisions for the sake of plot advancement.

also I ended up watching it on Netflix (which now gives the option to watch subbed!) and the description is literally just "imaginative, quirky, and raunchy, watch it!" which is possibly the worst possible description you could give this show.

Kotomi's father is the most British Japanese person alive.

Random thoughts aside: This episode was depressing! So y'know that's good I guess.
As depressing as Kotomi's history is, I feel like I had a hard time getting totally invested because of how boring she was previously. This episode had a positive ending! So that's good I guess. Lack of depression on the horizon?

This arc has increased my respect for Tomoya, at least.

EDIT: On a side note, I'm thinking about starting Zetsubou-sensei or SoreMachi. Any tips on which I should go for?
