I added the bolded to my basket and proceeded to checkout, but the discount isn't appearing. Anyone else with this problem? The next step for me is "Place your order" with a total of £57.04. Is it because I'm not located in the UK?

People on HUKD have been contacting amazon via the live chat and getting the discount or a refund applied post order as it is still advertised.

I just did that and they reduced the price to £20 (mines was showing as just over £70) - the chat person said it was a technical issue they were aware of so i expect it to work normally at some point in the future but for now just use the chat - tell them the issue and they should manually knock it down to £20

Seems like people may have cancelled orders too. I got an update changing the delivery date of Castlevania. It was slated to be delivered in January, but it has moved to December now.

Fantastic! Thanks for posting that!
Star Fox, New Art Academy, and RE:Revelations were my choices; those who got Star Fox in that Black Friday offer really got swizzed!
Not really. I only want really Star Fox from those games (got Rhythm Thief already) but don't want to buy 3 copies or be left having to sell on 2 games I don't want. In that case I would rather pay £10 for Star Fox. I might go for Dead or Alive and erm...Steel Diver also. I'll think it over for a day.

According to a Mounisha on Amazon chat, the 3DS promo is over.
She refused to help me with the discount.

Started a new chat window, and talked to someone named Amazon ^^

He/She managed to change the price to 20.27 pounds.

Meraj said the promo was over, but Prakash came through... 35€ for 3 games: keep trying people :) I just added Star Fox 64, Resident Evil: Revelations and Rhythm Thief to my backlog... Thanks Keyser!

EDIT: the page says this now, though:
PLEASE NOTE: THIS OFFER HAS NOW ENDED. WE APOLOGISE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE CAUSED.

From Monday, December 2, 2013, to Sunday, December 8, 2013, when you buy three games from the selection below, you will be charged just £20 (“Offer”), up to a maximum of ten Offers per customer (one Offer per purchase order).
Looks like I was lucky for once...

It takes what, half an hour to go to a Post Office to send the two games you don't want, and pick up padded envelopes next time you're in the supermarket. Even after any Ebay/etc fees you would still be quids up! Very little effort!

I want to get TLoU, but when they revealed the story dlc, I decided to wait for the Goty-edition. Wonder if there are many consumers like me out there? Anyways, for me, the potential of dlc, always makes me wait for these games, and thus loosing Sony some money I guess.

Did anyone else who received the Vita bundle instead of Tearaway from Zavvi or Thehut get a letter threatening "to enforce any and/or all legal remedies available to us"? I only quote this because they wrote "Strictly Private and Confidential, Not for Publication" in bold font on the letter. I just e-mailed them I want my Tearaway first, then I'll return the Vita.

I figured they'd start flexing their muscles on this, so I owned up and mine's being collected today. Hate having to do it though, and it doesn't help that my honesty is being 'rewarded' with nothing more than a refund for a game that I should have received weeks ago.

Zavvi huh, what a bunch of jokers. They won't be getting any more orders from me.

The Distance Selling Regulations are very clear on this. If you’ve been sent unsolicited goods, you are entitled to treat them as an unconditional gift and do with them as you choose. You are not required to keep them for any amount of time and you are certainly not required to pay for them. Any attempt to demand payment (by threatening means or otherwise) is unlawful.

Unless the law has changed....

I'm not sure they'd go into a legal process though, I think they were just threatening hoping people back down. If they actually acted on it, they don't really have much to stand on, considering it's entirely their fuck up.

Yeah, you shouldn't be returning the Vita at all. They're using the normal scare tactics to try and make you return it. It is legally yours.

Seems like Zavvi is using the intimidation route, knowing how frightened some people will get seeing it's getting the law involved etc... even though it's their own fault...

This refers only to unsolicited goods. This law is in place because companies would send out things like CDs or books, and then say that since you had accepted the delivery you owed them money. In this instance, since a product was requested and then the wrong product was delivered, the company is entitled to have it returned.

What they sent WAS unsolicited though. I had not asked for such an item hence I had not paid for such an item. In fact I could ask them were my copy of Tearaway is as I've still not received it.

I'll quote the important part:

But if goods are sent to you by mistake, you need to contact whoever sent them to let them know and ask them to collect the goods. You might get goods sent by mistake if they are meant for someone else or you’ve been sent duplicate or extra items on top of what you ordered.

and

You have no obligation to return the goods to the trader or allow the trader to collect the goods. However, it would be reasonable for you to contact the trader to explain what has happened and give them a chance to collect the goods from you.
