Please tell me that blond haired girl isn't supposed to be emotionless? I always hate those type of characters, unless there some action type lonely character.
Also, that glasses character looks like Harima but without the cheesy facial hair. Which isn't a bad thing, but I just noticed it.
I might give it a watch if it revolves more around the MC's school life, rather then the club itself.

I don't really know what they could do to make it any better than it already is without like, rewriting the whole thing. Which would certainly help, I suppose but it's not going to happen because people have been far too accepting of a) people talking rather than fighting and b) wonky-ass pacing.
There are times where the blatant hatred for mankind makes me wonder if this show was made by the Tea Party. The desire to destroy civilization for the sake of the environment is the key factor in convincing me it isn't. But there's a lot of shared insanity going on.
How did you do this and retain your humanity? I have to watch 3 episodes of this straight in the near future and it fills me with dread.

Hah, I knew it was going to be like this because no way could they even come close to animating what was going on. This episode encapsulates nearly every sin that people discuss when they talk about cheaply produced shounen jump adaptations:
- Terrible pacing - There was about 3 minutes of actual stuff happening in this episode. I'm not even kidding. Toriko through 2 kicks during his fight because there was so little actual fighting and every single shot went on too long.
- Off-model characters (everywhere)
- Bad storyboarding
- Bad editing
- Bad animation - I think the original TV cut of the Snake Girl arc might have had more movement than this. Over 90% of the shots in this episode were stills. This was made even worse by the fact that this particular event in the story is meant to an absolutely epic event featuring hundreds of people all moving at once. It's the kind of thing you're only really going to see animated properly in a movie.
So yeah. Owch.

Might as well not even included them in the game.
It was soooooooooo bad. I loved this arc and couldn't get enough of it in the manga but damn was I bored at the last episode. Toei truly does not give a shit.

Long-running shows are mostly bad, but Toei long-running shows tend to be particularly bad.

Art will take some getting used to, but should be fun.
She's not super expressive, but she's hardly emotionless. She goes chibi A LOT (as do a bunch of characters).
It's about the club in the same way Teekyu is. It's more about crazy antics, most of which make no sense.

I wouldn't say that. It just got weighed down by needless exposition that isn't even explained very well, especially in the early phases. The manga has been legit ever since the arc that the OADs covered, at least on the action side of things.
Well that's disappointing if it's the arc I think it is, which is by far the most important one so far. Sounds like Toei's biggest crime since they absolutely butchered Marineford in One Piece.
By the way, did you ever watch 33 or 34 (or whatever it was that I told you to watch)?

Raishin is lucky to be alive after telling Yaya he has a fiancee.
No wonder he took two years of gathering enough courage before telling her.
His interaction with Henri reminded me of a brother messing with his little sister. Works well with the later scene and flashback while they're stuck underground.
I might do that. I have trouble sitting through a full episode of this. It's like when your parents scold you and you just want to leave. Except your parents are berating you for insane things in absurd ways.
Buy it anyway.

I mean, suddenly Michiru is WAY harsher on all the guys, even Ryo (who we all know is both her and the Prof.'s favorite), and Professor Jerkass manipulative Saotome is suddenly like "I believe in those three men! They are who they are and they're great at it!" And she's all "Dad is so nice and easy on them."
Since when? Professor Saotome JUDO FLIPPED MUSASHI OUT THE WINDOW like, three days ago. He chewed Ryo a new one for disobeying orders, and forbade Hayato from taking a shot at the Mechasaur when he knew he could do it. And again, he JUDO FLIPPED MUSASHI OUT THE WINDOW. Saotome is a grumpy, unkempt jerkass with porn on the wall of his office. This is the kind of guy who is okay with his daughter wearing brass nipples on her skin tight flight suit. This is the man whose firstborn son died only 13 episodes ago and now he NEVER mentions him.
Since when is Professor Saotome this big, jolly marshmallow of inspiration and encouragement?
Also in this episode Dinosaur men with massive mustachios. I don't know how that works from an evolutionary stand point, but then, nothing else about the dinosaur men makes sense either. Like why they send their mechasaurs one at a time, or why they're hell bent on beginning their conquest of Earth in Japan.

Not bad, hopefully the show will be funny...
Good luck with that, the manga is often very hard to understand. I hope that whoever translates the anime can do a better job... and I think that the anime preview there looks a lot like the manga, anyway. The art style is pretty much the same, I think. What's the problem?
