Hehe, that's what finals do.
While MGR:R is good, IIRC it wasn't in-house.
Yes. IMO they went downhill once the PS3 gen started. I loved the PS2 Silent Hills but it just lost its magic.
At least they had the foresight to bring in PG to develop and fix the project.
Mirror of Fate was garbage. and Lords of Shadow is God of War.
MGR is by PG... sure Konami is the publisher but they needed PG to save that project. Konami itself is freaking horrible, Kojima lost it's magic after MGS3 and they don't make anything good anymore.
Lords of Shadow on PC is actually fun and technically competent. I platinumed it on PS3, but... that framerate... hoping LoS2 is decent.
MGR is indeed PG. But I don't agree with Kojima losing his magic with MGS3 as, for me, MGS3 is the Uncharted 2 of the series. I liked MGS4 though, even if there was a ton of cutscenes and some of the gameplay choices were... interesting. PW came after MGS3 too, and that seems fairly competent from what I've played. Can't wait to see what's up with Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain.
Ok this Uncharted 3 hate is getting ridiculous.
I know, right?
Is EDF 2017 @ $14.99 on US PSN the cheapest so far?
Yes. It was that price once before, but it's never been lower.
Well my theory is that they really had high expectations in the 3rd one so when it didn't do something new they just brushed it off in their mind.
I don't know that I buy this. From what I can tell, people wanted more Gears of War and when Uncharted 3 decided to move more toward the original, people got pissed because there wasn't enough shootbang going on.
Think about it. The dev team behind Uncharted 2 wastes TONS of time developing the multiplayer -- of course the single player is going to showcase all the new gunplay and shootbang type stuff they came up with and be more action and less exploration/puzzles/etc.
When Uncharted 3 didn't need to waste any time developing multiplayer, they went back and made the set pieces grander and tried a few new things with allowing players to completely stealth sections instead of forcing firefights, added in new puzzles, etc.
And people were let down by this and didn't get another Uncharted 2, so they raged.
UC3 is definitely just behind UC2. I bought UC1 at launch, and it was pretty mediocre. UC2 blew my brains out, and there was nothing UC3 could do to top that.
While UC vita was decent, let's get real here. There is nothing about the game that is better than UC3. Still a worthy game to play on the vita though.
I'd agree with your last statement, but you have to realize I'm not doing it for the same reasons. It's because I put Uncharted:GA as 3rd in the list behind the original and Uncharted 3.
This is a lot of hyperbole lol. It was basically UC2.5
Oh, don't say that. That's just mean. If it were Uncharted 2.5, I'd have disliked it, maybe a bit less that I dislike Uncharted 2, but I'd still dislike it. And I don't...
So is Capcom ever gonna out UMVC3 and DLC on sale for Vita since it's gonna be pulled very soon?
Uh. UMvC3 was on sale last month.
UMvC3 DLC was on sale last week.
You missed them.
