What have you been playing via Remote Play? I tried AC4 a few times, but the back-touch L2/R2/L3/R3 has been bugging me. I really wish we had a grip that would add these.

I know I wasn't asked, but I'm answering anyway! I've been playing BF4 a bunch, the back touch turns into grenades, spotting, running, and knifing. I have to play with my fingers pretty much off the unit, aside from cradling it, but it works well. KZ was very hard to play remotely I found. Resogun works well, but it not being as silky smooth as normal play does kill the fun ever so slightly. Warframe didn't seem to work well, as I couldn't find a way to swing my sword, but I only tried that once. I was going to try Pinball Arcade...but I already have it on my Vita.

Overall, being able to play BF4 conquest mode while sitting next to my lady on our couch has completely won me over. I love it, SO much.

Oh snap. Been a while since I've topped the page. Buy Terraria if you want a perfect mix of minecraft and Super Mario. Hot Shots Golf World Invitational for near endless fun. PS Plus, so you can get Sonic All Stars, and of course (even though I own it and haven't played it yet), Tearaway!

Played for a bit and all I could think about while running down the highway in the intro sequence of X is how badly I want a Xenosaga HD remake on the Vita.

I'm pretty sure FF X HD is just an enhanced port, rather than a remake. IIRC, Nomura (or someone else) mentioned that FF 1.5 ReMIX was basically done by only two people. I doubt FF X had significantly more.

Personally, I'd rather have a remake than an HD port. Especially considering that all three had different styles.

HD remake is a really weird phrase. Isn't it assumed that when someone does a remake, it's automatically "HD" (or to be more precise, whatever is the standard/s for the platform)? HD remake is redundant and commonly misused in place of enhanced ports.

Has there ever been an SD remake? Remake, not a downport.

AC4 is actually one of the best games for remote play since those buttons aren't used that much. Lego Marvel is great for remote play too.

Yeah, it really is quite superb. Played it on my deck on NYE, nice view of the city, 15 metres from my PS4/router through 3 solid brick walls and a glass slide door and it didn't drop a beat. Very relaxing and just damn COOL to boot.

i think it's because i'm in nyc with a lot of wireless traffic, but my local rp isn't perfect

however, over nye i was 40 miles away utilizing two fiber optic connections and rp was spot on, though

Tell me more... such an underrated franchise, it's a shame Worms has been pimped to hell whilst this has seemingly died off.

Also, why are certain games limited in brightness on the Vita? Games like Hotline Miami are always stuck at 75%.

Limiting brightness is usually a sign of developers trying to conserve power consumption.

I'm amazed at this Dragonball Z: Battle of the Z Demo as its quite fun! Lag is a small issue but that's given when I'm playing people from Asia or Americans with Dial-Up. Almost for sure will buy the Vita version when it releases.

Teddie gets Marakaja(All allies defense up) and Matarukaja(all allies attack up), so he's useful for support. Personally I used both, they're pretty useful in concert.

So far Resogun, COD, and NBA 2k. All three work really well luckily they don't require back touch a whole lot.

I finally collected all the collectables in Tearaway, so I'm done with that one. I have no desire to Platinum it, because I can't stand Trophies. I'm going to see about clearing Muramasa next, since I think that's the next game I'm the farthest along in. Man, replaying some of those levels in Tearaway...what a fantastic game. Truly one of the best exclusive titles on the Vita, if not, the best exclusive on the system.

My top favorite exclusive (no ports or multi-plat) Vita games:

Persona 4 isn't an exclusive Vita game, but looking at how well it sold on the Vita compared to the PS2, and how many Persona converts that game spawned (me being one of them), it may as well be considered exclusive. Lol.

If you're not going to use him, there's no need to level him.

I personally never levelled or use Teddie. My permanent party through the whole game after getting everyone was Kanji, Naoto and Yukiko... Didn't level the others up at all.

Great thing about HSG, 1 hole takes about a minute on a minute and a half once you get it the hang of it. Perfect for those quick plays.

On the FFX topic, I played halfway through it before, ten stopped. No matter how it's done, I'm very happy that I'll get to try it again. I've been spoiled with p3p,p4g, and the ps1 ff's, I can't play RPGs on a tv anymore. Feels too tethered, or something. I guess I'm somewhat happy I'll finally get to play through x2...or something.

Lemmings PSM is only free for a certain amount of levels.

Vita is getting its own native Lemmings game soon enough so I wouldn't sink any money into the PSM one.

Isn't Lemmings from PSM the same as PSP one?

I have no idea, but it looks gorgeous on the Vita screen, and has all the touch controls. It didn't seem like a PSP game, but I'm sure the levels are the same.

I'm currently playing Soul Sacrifice. Every monster and every fighting arena have their own story and they're all fantastic. Unfortunately I find the game a bit grindy beacuse I dont find the battle system nor the upgrade system much fun. I wish this were an adventure game instead, I keep playing only because I love those stories.

You don't, but I personally dislike not leveling all of the characters in Persona 4 as evenly as possible because then I feel the dissonance between game and narrative. Group of friends gather to fight Shadows, most of the friends sit on the bench for forever. Not for me.

I don't have the iOS version, but my cousin said that the levels are automatically unlocked in that version. I haven't beaten the 1st level on the mini. It plays and looks great so don't worry.
