I'm really hoping they listened to all the suggestions after L4D2 for the third one. So much potential for that series if they can expand the director's roles, etc.

My brothers old room mate's brother is working on Evolve @ Turtle Rock and the premise sounds good from what my brother (not a gamer at all) could relay to me.

Either way, stoked to see more dev's use Cryengine 3

Kinda bummed its not Fallout 4 though

I feel like 2014 should have some good surprises since I cant think of too many notable big games

Shenmue 3 or bust.

But in all seriousness I hope that it's not uncharted and is rainbow six or the division.

Would be awesome if it's a street fighter ultra port.

Why are people guessing Uncharted? The tweet makes it sound like a multiplatform game, plus the Aliens leak seems like quite the coincidence.

So it's that Evolve game then? The wording of the tease by GI with the entire "next-gen" thing is strange if it is a PS4/Xbox One game. Seems odd to not just say it.

Yep, I think this news is pretty much a multiplatform title since the quote did not say a one party exclusive. I guess people just want new news in a slow month. Kaz's keynote tomorrow will also disappoint since GAF will expect new PS news, but by going from past CES keynotes, it'll just be the state of electronics.

I don't think we'll get any PS news until February close to JPN launch.

Currently polling second in Australia's federal election (first in the Gold Coast), this feral may one day be your Bogan King.
Oh wait, it's actually Turtle Rock's game? Where did that come from?

I hope it has a decent plot and characters instead of like l4d. I think you can do both... a great 4 player co-op shooter with some sort of narrative.

Spill them details brother.

Spill them details brother.

I'll ask my bro for more details tomorrow but he was saying it was a game where you and some team mates team up against another player who is constantly evolving and getting stronger (he doesn't play a lot of games so it may be completely off)

There also seems to be some sort of Esports element in the game. Turtle Rock recently hired a Community Manager that was at Riot and Treyarch before. He has been hinting in the last couple of days that something is coming and very recently started following Andy McNamara from Game Informer on Twitter.

Game Informer often gets first-look at games, presumably due to being owned by GameStop. These first-looks are what get the cover almost always.

Bahaha, you're that sure? Prepare to eat some nasty crow.

I'm just saying it to unhype myself and not cry tomorrow. Please let it be Demon Soul's 2....

I have a feeling this is going to follow the oncoming inevitable trend of MP only games

Not against it in some cases
