Evolve could be interesting, but it's nothing to flip out over. L4D3 is also probably due to be announced this year and this type of game isn't exactly one that needs multiple games to keep you entertained for hours on end. It'd just be over saturation at that point, assuming Evolve keeps a lot of the original Left 4 Dead formula.

Ehh if its yet another shooter, and is not an open world type of situation I probably wont care. If it has Split Screen co op, and not just "online multiplayer" then my hype may rise.

If it requires an internet connection at all though then I will never look at it again. Ill get my fill of internet required shooters with Destiny, and Division.

I think some people are taking the term "flip out" way too far. It's just marketing talk for "be excited." I think a new IP from the creators of the Left for Dead series is pretty exciting. Maybe certain people wont be, but overall that seems like a decent announcement.
