That's exactly what I was talking about. The point of my post was to spell out what it means (or what little it means).

I think it's an attempt at redefining the word "social" to mean "microtransactions." Probably to turn a hated word into an accepted word, while getting customers to feel uncomfortable with rallies against being social, i.e. gamers will now rally to be "anti-social." LOL.

Capcom is probably going to do some stupid things in the future, certainly damaging their PR image at some point at least, but the cries going on are pretty much apocalyptic in tone going beyond any sort of "history". Some people make it sound they are not even making console games anymore.

The Capcom is doomed stuff is pretty far out, but there has been a fairly consistent rejection of their AAA (and I'm using it loosely in the case of Lost Planet 3) offerings for the tail of last gen.
