That's not really controversial, it seems to be the standard position. It's still wrong though :p, but I guess they're not wildly different or anything. And as I said, the actual drawings in the show might deviate from the designs and veer towards "K-On look" a bit. It happened with Haruhi looking KEY-ish after Air and then more K-On-ish in the 2009 version, and it also happened with Clannad looking less KEY-ish than the other two KEY shows and closer to what would later be K-On because they were coming from Lucky Star.

I mean, I'm not really hating on Hyouka. I just really don't like the character design. I confess that if there were a more aesthetically pleasing character design, I might care more, but whatevs.

I would tell you to drop Megazone 23, Macross Frontier and for sure keep Twelve Kingdoms. The Daughter of Twenty Faces, just watch the first couple of episodes before the big shift, you'll recognize it, it's like the second or third episode lol, all downhill from there. Only thing redeemable past that point is the OP which is damn catchy.

Well it does have a fast tempo but lots of time others will actually go and pick up reading the thread where they started so you never know when you'll get an answer.

As for Frontier, it's just not very good. I actually think it has some ok music and it's definitely not the worst anime you'll ever see but it's not good either, so if it were to remain on the list I'd place it way near the bottom. If someone wasn't already a fan of Macross then I'd really say there's no reason to watch it at all so to me it really only had value to someone who was already a fan of the franchise and even then it's pretty underwhelming.

Fun episode, although I liked the last one more. This one had some good moments, and the animation was awesome as usual, but nothing really made me laugh, and it didn't really have the hints of a more serious side the last one did. I'm enjoying this show, but I'm not really sure how it's going to maintain 26 episodes without getting old. I'm already getting tired of some of the running jokes (Dr. Gel).

Zombie episode next apparently.

Looks like Hummingbird had another redesign, this time to anime data pages themselves and the "library" page on the user profile. Unfortunately, it also looks like this update removed the ability to increase episode counts on the library page by clicking a counter button; it appears that you now have to manually type in your new episode count into a text box. This is enough of a blow to efficiency that if it isn't fixed, I might just go back to MAL for good.

Kuroko's Basketball 2 34-36

These last few episodes were great at pissing me off. How a team can get away with
basically elbow dropping other players to the point of grievous injury
is beyond me. But I suppose they need an actual villain on this show as opposed to a rival like Anomine.

Watching Kuroko actually getting angry was the best part.

Seems like sorting by columns are broken too. Might just be glitches.

I just use the android app. Its excellent, especially given its done by a kid in his spare time.

They have been taking their sweet time rolling out heir update that theyve been talking about for 6 months. Its curious, whilst the screenshot of the official thread shows a plus minus episodes button, I don't get that either.

The +1 button is basically the most fundamental of all list site features and the programmers behind HB seem smart enough to understand this in light of all the improvements they've made to the list site formula, so I hope it's a glitch or a mistake.

Seems like it depends on browser. If I access the library with Chrome desktop mousing over the episode box bring up the plus-minus episode buttons.

Doesn't appear on mobile Chrome (well Chrome on my iPad).

Are you using Firefox by any chance? I'm seeing a button to increase/decrease episodes count on Chrome.

The site staff is working on the known problems. You cannot expect every update to anything to go smoothly even if it was tested fine. Here's the link to the forum topic discussing the update over at Hummingbird.

Naah. They are there in Firefox. Its interesting. In Firefox they are there all the time, but in Chrome desktop (at least for me) they only appear when I mouseover the episodes watched.

Feels bad because you can cut like ten minutes out of the episode and come away a better show.

I'm okay with the dub, but QT is annoying me and I'll probably just wait for the subbed version next week.

Eh Mewgazone 23 was worth to watch, while the last part was crap.. its worth it for recognize origin for some of trope that mecha anime still use even now.

And the Umetsu's episode are fuck awesome (eps 2) dat

Honestly Ive not updated Mal or HB in a long time. It seems like too much work.

Madp, you have this backwards.

First of all, space lizardmen aren't authorized to do anything. Planetary sovereignty is just protected by the Galaxy Police until its people become corrupt and lost. Then it's open season.

Second, Venus was wiped out because it was TOO PERFECT. Like El Miore beat Sim Venus then decided he wanted to play the harder Sim Earth.
