monster hunter ultimate is actually one of the better selling games on wiiU, well atleast sold enough that capcom proudly displays how much it has sold.

Uh, it absolutely would've made a huge, tremendous difference... in Japan.
The stream became private after it ended, so links to it wouldn't work. Capcom Channel tends to uploads these events, so if you really wanna watch the stream just follow them. Nothing really happened in the stream. It was just some event where they hunted and this teaser was the big thing at the end.

Doesnts matter really. Since there is existing proof of revenue vs. a what if scenario.
When Capcom is in poor shape as is you can bet they will go with the existing source over attempting a what if.
Its why they are throwing the Vita users the not wanted MHF game instead. Resources already exist from the PC version which is getting slight graphical updates too from the latest version. Instead of having to redo everything from the 3DS version to put it into HD for the PSV.

Its just simple economics really.
A company has limited resources. Therefore they cant go porting something to everything just because. You need to pick and choose where said resources go. Which obviously is allocated to the side which will bring in the most risk free potential profit.

What does the PSP have to do anything? The choices for 4 and 4G were 3ds and vita. Capcom made the correct choice based on sales.

Three years later and people still cant let MH on Vita go. MH gamers this gen are on 3DS - no need for Capcom to switch things up at this point, thats like expecting Squaresoft to put Final Fantasy maingames also on N64 after they release FF7 and FF8 on PSX.

Need this in my life. I miss Monster Hunter so much after selling my WiiU. Not quite the same without online. As a Vita and 3DS owner I don't care what it's on. Vita would be slightly more preferable because better visuals and controls, but it's not gonna happen so whatever. Still gonna be amazing.

the PSP prior to MoHu was selling like shit, then they got MoHu and sales skyrocketed. it would do the same for the vita
People flock to whatever system mainline MoHu is.
It doesn't matter if it's on the 3DS, Vita or a toaster.

What I really want to know is if the localized version will get any of the cross over stuff in the localization. Even if it's preorders only, I really want that Chopper One Piece crossover and all the other cool shit that happened when Monster Hunter released.
I also hope they release those white and black XLs because as much as I love my ACNL 3DS XL, I'd totally double dip for that Airu/Meirou white XL. I fucking love cats.

Eh Vita was selling below 8k first year without price cut. 3DS was selling 30k. Even with MH it wouldn't have changed Vita's initial fortunes much, and extra 10k a week probably. Hell 3G would have likely not sold that much. That wouldn't have helped Capcom much at all.
Outside of multiplatform 3DS was certainly the right call no doubt about that.
Climbing on the walls after Ceanataur would be pretty awesome.
I'm hoping for the return of Monoblos. He is so much cooler than that poser Diablos.
I only played a bit of the 2nd gen games and never got to the crabs so I'd love for them to make a return. I

Granted its not toast but its just as cool. At the monhan cafe they had some weird desert that used a giant cube of bread though lol
Probably not the licensed stuff. Tri in Japan got excuslive licensed content we never got here. As long as we get the Link/Zelda armor/weapons I'm good. I've been meaning to make a female hunter and use a bows. That would give me the perfect excuse.

The crabs were pretty badass. Back in 2G on the PS2 when starting out as a naked nublet you could pretty much get one shotted by the move it does when it comes bursting out of the sand shell first. Good times. Then getting chased by a ton of the little ones...
Also they seriously need to bring back "furry rex". As I miss fighting that asshole. So much better looking that Tiga not to mention makes better gear too.
