And Kojima really went overboard with the Zero and 100 thing. One analogy was good, not 5 for God sakes.

They really oughta explain why Zero and Big Boss hated each other in The Phantom Pain. Major Zero didn't really showed to be very invested in The Boss anyway.

EDIT: It does get me happy that Big Boss ended that way though. He finally gets it why The Boss sacrificed.

It really was, but the game was pretty self contained if you don't include the phone call post credits. Once the sequels came it really ramped the craziness up like mad.

Well didnt Big Boss ditched Zero which starts Peace Walker? Then it was all about Zero getting him back for Cypher(Patriots) for that game. Then boom MGSV is about BB getting into a coma and MSF being destroyed by Cypher, which leads to BB making his new army and Kaz being hellbent on revenge against Cypher ie Zero?

Stranger is that "Snake is back in FOX". And it wasn't really for getting him into Cipher, but sabotaging MSF.
