I've said nevermind if it was a joke, but the way you keep defending Magic I don't think it is. And sure he can change his mind but tell the guy to his face not some fucking college kids who don't even know him.

And I am defending Magic in the same way I'd defend Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaq, Russell, Duncan, Kobe, or any other great player who actually won something and came through in the clutch.

Why exactly are we supposed to defend Lebron and why is Lebron apparently immune from criticism? Shit, if Lebron had won something in his career, then Magic wouldn't have had to speak up.

Plus, you'd be the first to line up and proclaim that we can't criticize Lebron anymore if he ever wins something.

Kobe got far more shit in the post-Shaq era. Do you see anyone talk shit about his lack of accomplishments anymore? Winning cures all.

We'd be defending the individual whether it was Magic who said it or any other top player who doesn't pussy out in the biggest games on a regular basis. This isn't about Magic Johnson. This is about a great player who has proven his greatness on the biggest stage and a player who has been crowned as the King, the Chosen One, the one who guaranteed seven or more championships while he has yet to play well during 10 NBA finals games.

Magic earned his cred while LeBron hasn't. Kobe went through shit after Shaq left and he displayed his greatness many times in big games. He also did it while Shaq went out vs Indiana. Kobe in his first finals, in his fourth season, at age 22 or so did more than LeBron has in his 8th season. Kobe showed up and carried the team no his back on the biggest stage. LeBron? As usual he went to the corner and watched. Hakeem? Took his team on his back two years in a row. LeBron? Deferred as usual. MJ? Carried his team on his back to 6 NBA championships. Even Isaiah Thomas carried his team no his back. LeBron? Pussies out per usual. So no, its not Magic Johnson, its the fact that a great player called out LeBron for being the pussy he is.
