I never pointed any fingers at you as many hear have intelligence and understand basketball but if you think there's no jealousy and bitterness towards a very gracious young man who will win the league's most prestigious regular season award, then you must have several posters blocked.

Like I said, cause and effect.

No irrational(SOME is rational but not much tonight) hate, no responses.

I agree, Derrick Rose is a nice young man who is gracious and helpful. He walks old women across the street at intersections and helps them with their groceries. He should win MVP.

Doesn't most of Bulls-age agree that the Bulls aren't as good as their record? The only standout I see is snack or whatever his name is.

So this is what near parity is like? Even number one and two seed teams have to defend their teams during the beginning of the playoffs? I don't know if I could take much more of this.

I'm stunned that the Bulls ended up as the number 1 seed but looking at the second half of the season, I have no doubt they're the best team in the league right now and expect them to carry that form through June.

So it's kind of a yes and no from me. Are they as good as you expect the team with the best record in the league to be considering the talent on the Lakers, Celts and Spurs? I'm not sure. Are they currently the best team in the league? Absolutely.

I wouldn't even go out of my way to praise Rose, it's just fun to laugh at the cererbal casualties on this forum when they act up.

Rose's play speaks for itself but this is a messageboard and what would it be without the back and forth amusement????

I never said his abuse on the forum was special but it is especially sudden because he's going to win MVP.

If he was on your(not yours specifically but in general) team, everything would be different of course.

I'd rather talk about the other Bulls' players as they are the keys to getting towards the Eastern Conference Finals, Rose is going to dominate or get his, they need to step up.

Luol Deng is the key to the Bulls' playoff run.

Pearl Jam played on my college's(well, that was ages ago) campus when they were huge.

I have no idea how we got them but it was weird walking to a concert where I stumbled on math final exams.

Really shows you how bad the SF position is when the second or third best PG is vastly superior to the #1 SF.

Hopefully we can get some new blood in the league at that position someday.
 
don't get it. I watched the 4th, saw Rose carry his team, and people here are complaining? Rose played really well, the role players weren't hitting their shots, and chicago is up 2-0.

And Rose is really fun to watch, IMO. Don't need to bitch for the sake of bitching, people.

So Chicago is underwhelming right now. Two years ago Cavs went 8-0 before flopping out. Orlando went 8-0 last year before flopping out. At this point, all that matters for Chicago are wins. Their D is playing well and the O need more work, but as long as they get these wins, then good on them.
 
Rose was by far the best player in either game yesterday. He did way more for the Bulls than Lebron did for the Heat. Not his fault that the Pacers didn't roll over and spread their legs like the Sixers did.

I don't really blame the Sixers though; tough to bounce back when the refs completely steal a game from you as blatantly as they did in Game 1.
 
i didn't think the sixers rolled over in the 1st half. I think it's a really bad matchup for Philly, tbh. Indiana is a tough one for chicago, for some reason. That's 3 games in a row now they've come down to the end (1st one going to OT).

I think the SG production is going to be a big problem for Chicago all playoffs long.

Well, there were the first three quarters and first three minutes of the fourth where he was 8/21 with six turnovers.
