Deng has Lebron's number and reduces Lebron to that type of player. He isn't normally that type of player. Can't wait to beat Dirk again!

Yeah, valid point but Brewer guarded LeBron too.

But yeah, defensive specialists can greatly affect someone's game.

I just would think that if LeBron is the best player in the game, he'd be dominating these guys but I agree with what you are getting at.

Maybe he will dominate against Dallas.

WTF was with idiots saying Thibs was classless?

I'm watching his conference now, and he has literally said that Miami played great defense, they earned it, and they deserve to win.

In the TNT post game interview with Craig Sager he was complaining about the calls.

He's more of a whiny baby than Charles Barkley.

Bottom line:

People here act like Rose is not that good while acting like Lebron is the best player in the game.

Both are wrong but opinions are opinions.

I didn't see Lebron use his strength and dominate this series, he settled for bailout shots and made many to his credit.

It's all in styles.

It's fine if you(not you personally) think LeBron is the best player in the game.

Lebron can out pass Rose
Out score rose
Out rebound rose
out shoot rose
out defend rose
out block rose
out steal rose
and just knocked Rose out of the playoffs.

All the stats SHOW THIS. Please stop.

The Bulls had the lead going into the 4th in the last two games. Fucking FTs.

This is complete and utter horseshit. Stern needs to fucking resign; he's a total embarrassment to this league.

I will guaran-fucking-tee you that all sports talk radio will talk about is "What happened to the Bulls? Will they ever get past this stinging series loss?"

Nobody will give the Heatles their goddamn respect. They just want to talk about what's wrong with the Bulls, not what's right with the Heat.

I say fuck them. Fuck the non-believers. Fuck the haters. Fuck the city of Cleveland. Fuck the Knicks.

Where's the fucking haters? It's easy to rag on a team when they're down, where the fuck are you?

Bulls bandwagoners are bitching about the bad calls. Fucking crybabies. Cleveland needs to build a fucking bridge and get over it. Mark Cuban has the biggest fucking ego in sports.

Heat over Dallas in six. See you all at the celebration party in downtown Miami. Bitches.

ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?

Do you even watch ESPN? They will be talking all about how great the Heat are...calm dee fuck down son and act like you been here before. 4 more wins and then talk this shit, my man.

Don't blow your load until you win it all.

Dirk literally disappeared for quarters at a time against OKC
i see what you're saying, but you're literally judging lebron on a different scale than every other player in the league. Rose was practically non existent for 10-15 minutes at a time this series, but if just shot even 40%, he wouldn't be getting this abuse. The problem was that even the times Rose did show up, he didn't play well

You'd rather have LeBron than Dirk on your team.

You also think Bosh is a top 20 power forward in NBA history.

The Heat's defense also knocked THE BULLS(it's a TEAM game, not many here know this it seems) out of the playoffs.

See, if you credit the Bulls' defense as the sole reason they got here, you have to then credit the Heat's defense, not LeBron James alone.

You can't have it one way with one team and not the same way with another.

Rose is very good and had a fantastic season. But he is not a one-of-a-kind generational talent. He's not even in Iverson's league right now much less the number of players above him. The "not that good" rhetoric is a direct backlash to winning an undeserved MVP award and is obviously inaccurate, but to be expected under the circumstances.

Also Lebron IS the best player in the game right now. He's a prick, a douche, and a complete idiot, but him being the best player hasn't been in question for three seasons now.

Tell Rose to make some shots when it matters and you wouldn't have anything to complain about. Just LOL at blaming Stern as the main reason the Bulls blew a 12 point lead in 3 minutes.

Not from what I saw though he did hit some big shots.

Bosh helped as well.

It's going to be hard to win against Dallas with the way the Heat played as Dallas can score.

Wade's going to have to do much more.

The difference is that LeBron is probably the best defender on the Heat whereas Rose is only ahead of Boozer/Korver (Who play so little defense they may not even count as defenders) on the Bulls defense list.

Dwight is better.

Both these stat lines are from the conference finals.

23 - 6.3 - 3.8 - 36% FG, 22%3pt, 3.8 TO

23.6 - 4.8 - 4.8 - 36% fg, 20%3pt, 3.0 TO

One is Russel Westbrook, the second option on the Thunder
One is Derrick Rose, the "MVP" of the league

Does it matter if I put their names to label who gets what stat line? No.

All fair points except I think Dirk is clearly the best player in the game right now.

Objectively, both defenses are greats, but I think that Chicagos is better. Secondly, I also would rather have Lebron on my team. Third- you just sound salty. I know losing sucks, your team played a great series, and I get the feeling that as Boston ages, Chicago/Heat is gonna quickly become a bigtime rivalry.

LeBron rarely dominates games from start to finish.

He's a great bailout shooter but I have to laugh at the hype he gets.

"Oh my god, he is so good on defense"

Deng dunks over him.

Last game, LeBron refuses to challenge Derrick on a fastbreak dunk.

He is selective on defense and people highlight it.

As far as offense goes, he's a bailout shooter.

In this series all he did was look confused by Deng and Brewer, hold onto the ball for a hour and then either miss shots or make them.

That's some talent but not a dominant player.

His passing is overrated too though he can pass, he just gets it mentioned more because OMG he's 6'9" and can pass!!!!!!

No one this year got to the rim like Derrick did nor were there many that were as clutch as him during the season.

Unfortunately, he stumbled in the playoffs often.

Like I said before, most here would love to have him on their team but then again, maybe not as they want labels, not winners and playoff contenders.

You talked about Deng dunk over lebron. Funny thing he blocked his dunked few minutes latter.
You ragged on Lebron defense but when he was on Derrick in 4th quater/OT, Rose himself said that getting a foul was his only hope. Plus his 4th quater field goal %.

Yes, Derrick was cluth in regular season. But Lebron was cluth in the easter conference finals. and Derek chocked.

Derek deserve the MVP. But Lebron is the best player. No question about it.

How many times did Derek fall for the pump fake?

I might be salty(though that's a fucking stupid unoriginal overused word) but it's actually because I disagree with you that the Bulls played a great series.

They didn't play a great series.

They didn't have a great playoffs at all.

Their defense is always going to be there most of the time but I can't agree at all that they played a great series in any of the 3.

Alright bro, be that way- I'm trying to give your team props after a hard fought, tough game, just take it. Deal with next season over the summer. Jeez.

Heat don't win if Boozer doesn't commit an incredibly stupid flagrant on Lebron. SO STUPID.

So many things the Bulls could have done. They're probably the only team in the league at the moment who can match up with the Heat athletically, but it just seemed like they were literally too stupid to use it. IQ should be used in advanced player metrics.

While it was a big play, it happened late in the 3rd and the Bulls came back and went up by double digits in the 4th quarter.

Kind of hard to play a great series against the Heat when your best player plays like trash. Whether you want to believe it or not it's Rose that gave them no chance in the series. That's the reality.

Also close, but I think Lebron's defense and passing gives him the edge there. Dirk is definitely the smarter player though. Lebron keeps holding himself back with some of the really dumb and puzzling decisions he likes to make in games for no good reason.

Nah, I'm not that upset, the odds of winning the series would have been really low for the Bulls down 3-1, it just pisses me off that some don't realize they really blew the game.

The Bulls didn't lose all the games in the series though, the Heat won some themselves but it was clearly not meant to be that the Bulls lose a game like this they had.

Good luck against Dirk and The Jet though I can't say I really mean that.

No one here mentions that snub.

Dude's one of the best indivual defenders in the game.

As much as I like Noah, Deng is the better defender for me.

Speaking about the good defensive players on the team, thibs said early in the season kurt was the best on D. WHY ARE YOU SITTING HIM THEN FUCK!!L:JK~!:L!KJ!KL:j

The thing about Dirk is I usually don't like "one dimensional" players at all.

In fact, I was never a Dirk fan all these years because I like all around players.

Though sometimes that one dimension is just so dominant that if he gets by in other areas, you can easily overlook it.

I don't remember many more dominant performances than Dirk's so far in the playoffs and I grew up around all those Bulls teams and Magic's Lakers(Boston too but I hated them).

I agree but I guess Thibs wanted speed, height AND athleticism.

But Omer can't play offense and Taj is inconsistent on offense so I guess Thibs thought they'd win the series on the defensive end.

That's a lot to ask when other teams have at least 2 to 3 guys that are scorers.

I also didn't think they played Bogans enough in the 4th quarters but I love the way Brewer played so I can't knock the move if it was either or.

Lebron saying Rose is spoiling us.

DRose Defense Force reporting in here.

A little bit after all star break we saw Rose hit a wall. He was beat: working on his shot all summer, and playing 40 minutes a night trying to put the team on his back had caught up with him. He did it well for most of the season and for those who have watched him since he came in the league you saw that jumper he worked on start to fade. His legs were telling him to take a break but it was playoff time already. You saw him struggle with his jump shot all through the post-season and he didn't have the same consistent burst he did throughout the season. It was a real disappointment seeing him play this way. - Yes we acknowledge he played like shit when it mattered most.

He needs to learn how to conserve himself for future playoffs which any team that has him will definitely be in. Not many do it on their few go's, he has a lot to learn. I look forward to see him grow even more next season.
