I said at the beginning of the open that Stosur would be my pick to win if Serena wasn't playing so well, so I'm not sad at all that she won...

But all that work Serena did on her image...playing calmly, not getting too emotional. She had people rooting for her again. To throw it all away with that outburst, and it definitely threw off her game. The dubiousness of that call could be debated, but there's no excuse for her behavior...

Stosur won her match in 3 sets and was in bed before Serena's match started. It's a combination of poor planning and network ratings that did her in. What..Serena's match ended a little before midnight then turn around and play again 16 hours later? Should just give the women a rest day like the men have.
