I don't think it's age. 30 isn't THAT old for the men's side of tennis. Besides, Mardy Fish (GO FISH!!) is just as old and is having one of his best years in tennis with a lot of his success being credited to how well he's moving around the court.

I can see in the beginning of a tennis career, practicing individual shots is important and later on in your career + age, conditioning + stamina become more important. Federer has been dominate for so long that I think him practicing specific shots would be redundant.

The commentators were discussing Serena's serve earlier today and saying that the serve is the biggest thing a lot of female players need to work on. I agree. Personally, I don't know why a lot of women don't hit the gym and work on their serves. When you have a serve as big and precise as Serena's...damn.

Eh, don't like Azarenka, and the same can be said about a lot of players. That's what separates the greats from the chumps. The greats know how to play a winning game like they're behind. And then when they're actually behind they turn their game up to god-tier.

Except for Sharapova and her pattern of sloppy first sets and then turning it up when the opponent tires out. She didn't deserve to go any farther than she did this open.
