Is Deron even a top 5 point guard anymore? There used to be arguments (delusional jazz fans) that he was better than CP3 but no one talks about him anymore. Did he fall off or what?

I think it has more to do with the amount of fucks a player doesn't give after he's traded to New Jersey.

Bropez is injured, his teammates are ass, he doesn't care as much.


Put him on a playoff team and he'd return to form. Wonder if his trade value is being hurt, or would Jersey FO really say, "His numbers suck this year cause our squad is terrible."
 
Shouldnt he be giving a giant fuck you to utah and actually proving his worth to get a better contract? Or does that not apply to this era of the nba since he is probably going to get paid anyway. Im just wondering cause isn't he a free agent after this season or is it the next?
 
The only way Deron gets less than the max is if he agrees to take less because he's forming a superteam with Dwight and someone else.

Current DWill is still better than Devin Harris, so he's good on that front.

He's young, has no scary history of injury and is in his prime. Every GM knows what he's capable of with decent teammates. He'll get his money and return to form on a decent squad. I don't think anyone doubts that at all.
 
Watching the repeat of the Clips/Heat game. Seeing Spo heated should make Heat fans happy at least a little.

It was nice to see him show that he gives a fuck.

I dont know he just seems like one of those players I can't see winning a championship as a number one option. Of course he is going to get the max but I guess I just never liked his game after the jazz had so many disappointing performances with him as their number one.

In other news how the fuck do the sixers have a 7-3 record??

Wall was never a good shooter and his passing this year has been garbage.

Funny how so many point guard stop giving a shit rather then try and make their teammates better. Probably why I like nash so much instead of people who say fuck it I don't have a griffin to lob it to im gonna fuck around until I can become a free agent.
 
Nash's teammates were never as bad as Wall's or Deron's, though.

Hill, Gortat, Dudley, Frye are all better players that anything on those teams.

Wall still smells like a bust to me, though.

Wall I can understand first year and his teammates are complete shit. I don't blame him.

Put nash on the nets though with a healthy brook and they will be close to the playoffs.

I agree it is a little quick to judge but so far it isn't looking good for him. At the end of the season if brook is healthy again the Nets should be way better than last year. They traded Harris and a decent rookie for a guy who was being called a top 5 point guard and even last year they didn't improve much.

its easier to check out than work yourself to death trying to turn shit into sugar. you still get paid either way.
 
Cousins is now third in the league in reb per game. His orebs have been crazy. Love has 51 orebs in aprox 390 minutes played. Cousins has 50 orebs in aprox 270 minutes played. More than 40% of Cousins shots come from putbacks off of misses. It's killing his FG% though because he's not gathering and going back up at an angle. He just gets the rebound and immediately pooches it back up there. He had three dunks tonight though.

Lets be real tho, that roster should not be play off contenders. It's fairly stupid that they are. There are only possibly 4 PG's that could make them a .500 win team.
