If I had all the fucks in the world I wouldn't give one of them. Its just so damn hilarious how joyous it gets around here after a meaningless loss. The trolls are really in top form when Lebron has a bad game.

Thats was more of a fallacy of last night. This season the attack has been more around the rim than not.
Heat proved last season, last playoffs and a couple times already this season that if you pack the paint, play zone D or slow the tempo to more suit a half court game, some of the Heat players have no idea what to do.

Will it be when it matters most though???

James has an identity crisis that I don't know if he can shake.

I could see Wade taking it to the rack at the end of games(many advantages in that;) ) but I could see LeBron just confused when a guy that can move his feet stays in front of him and just pulling up for long two pointers.

If I was the Heat coach, I'd have Bosh and LeClown driving to the basket over 80% of the time, they both don't realize their own games whih is good news for all the other teams.

Well last night we ran two straight plays for Lebron to drive to the rim and he got to good spots but lets face it, he was fucked last night. He makes those layups almost any other time.

The nonsensical nature of Hollinger's Power Rankings:

After beating the Clippers on Tuesday, Portland moved down from 4th to 5th.

But after losing to the Magic last night, Portland moved back up from 5th to 4th.

/trollface

He should concentrate more on the shot and his footwork(not sure if that is possible) than initiating contact, I'm not sold on him being a great finisher at the rim at the end of games if the other team can at all defend.

His touch at times is clunky as hell.

He did go to the basket late last night though which is probably his best bet.

I really think the Thunder have the best chance to beat the Heat if we make it out of the west.

Honestly, the Heat have already been to the finals as a team and LeBron and Wade have been there once before that. The Thunder as a core haven't been out of the West yet and the only player on the Thunder who has championship experience is Perkins. Experience is extremely valuable, especially against a team like the Heat.

Rose outplayed him already this year easily(passing, scoring, all of it).

One game but he outclassed him in every way even though Chris Paul had his usual decent stats.

CP3 is still very much pass first. Doesn't make him any less a player for doing his job and Rose is still too fucking wild.

One shining example was when Lebron tried to guard CP3. Rose who is more explosive and faster couldn't create space at all and took a terrible shot last year. CP3 easily hesitated and got open to take a good shot. He is just so much more in control of his self and his team. I never seen rose handle a clutch situation like that.

Oh geez, Adande really hit that one out of park last night on the Daily Dime.

Shadowdork couldn't have written a more defensive article about Lebron if he tried.

When it mattered most, LeBron James failed, and that turned out to be the sweetest symphony at Staples Center. That’s his burden until he owns a championship, because there’s only vindication in the ultimate victory.

Heh.

Well, they're easily the most complete team in the West, so I would hope so.

West is very down this year, but it's better top-to-bottom than the East. East is stronger at the top, although I could definitely see OKC giving Miami and Chicago problems. They can keep up with Miami's transition game if they need to, and their half-court offense (while not stellar) should be good enough overall to keep the Heat out of transition. We should be able to flat outscore the Bulls.

Still not sold on giving YNB the reins, but there's no reason not to let it ride for this season then reassess in the offseason. We'll have a pretty good idea of what this team's future prospects are.

I think pass first makes Chris Paul bad at times.

Rose should have taken LeBron off the dribble but I would guess that he was mentally and physically gassed and probably a bit nervous about who was on him.

Rose is out of control in control, he can finish when it counts the most.....he just had a very bad series against the Heat. Some of that is the Heat's defense and I would imagine a lot of it was Rose having such a burden carrying the offense(he usually gets adequate rest during the regular season, he played almost the whole game every game against the Heat because he had to).

Paul is more methodical and crafty at times than Rose because he doesn't go 100 miles an hour, I agree with that. Both have advantages over the other I'd say.

It's more difficult to relate to LeBron because he seemingly hit the DNA lottery … although he apparently didn't come up with the bonus number that is the clutch gene.

Amazing. That sentence is one step away from "if Lebron was white, we'd love him as much as Tebow!"

Paul said he was sure LeBron would be mad about losing, but James accepted the defeat in stride, said he was satisfied with his team's effort but not with his play down the stretch.

Such a humble figure. What superstar would ever accept loss as humbly and generously as Lebron? Why do we hate him again?

He wants you to remember that advertising sales for the TV show raised more than $2 million for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America.

Oh god.

Someone give Adande a napkin.

Rose is a fighter I'll give him that but he relys on forcing shots too much. That will only work half the time.

Oh hey its reilo with is usual odius whining about meaningless bullshit. Missed you last night bud.

I was posting in the thread. Maybe you need to pay more attention, or did your Aderal subscription run out?

The ironing is delicious.

I would rather have a Paul taking the final shot for my team than rose. Compared to even lebron or wade, Paul is always calm and in control in the clutch. Willing to pass or take the final shot. I think Thats a better quality than even MAMBA being on your team.

How can you be "satisfied with your team's effort" when said effort results in a loss?

Because LeBron doesn't care that much about winning, only looking good individually.

He "started caring" about winning it all when everyone pointed out how that left him out of elite company.

If he as 30 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists, he's not going to lose sleep over losing the big game.

Get used to it. As a Yankee fan, I hear it all the time regarding Jeter and Arod. Let them hate. Most of the time, the hate is hilarious and you just have to sit back and enjoy it. You get some legitimate laughs sometimes (come on, some of the Twitter stuff that got posted overnight was hilarious).

It doesn't bother you after a while, I love it when MLB-age shits on Jeter being "shitty" or Alex dating some has been wrestling chick, because they have that chip. It'll bug you less when/if you get that chip.

I think a lot of it still has to do with the way Wade/Lebron/Bosh came together and how much pomp and circumstance there was. Then they announced they'd win multiple chips ("not one, not two..") and put expectations on themselves. It's similar to how the Jets are crashing and burning right now.

It's good that the Lebron hate amuses you, it's gonna be there until he gets the chip. Once/If he does, it'll get louder, but you won't care.

Sometimes, you just gotta say "Shump it" and move on.

If I meet you in real life, I'll give you a fist bump.

And A-Rod dating a wrestling chick isn't something I'm going to rag him over. George Clooney and Stacy Keibler are doing just fine, apparently, so I'm not going to judge him over that.

Wow just seen this new OT. Wade looks big as hell in that GIF. I'd be scared as fuck if I were that ref hahaha

Not to mention an raging Spo-ner coming up from behind.

lol what the hell is this?

.

It's quite simple, simple mind:

Sometimes you can overpass(I know that really bothers your stat-tracking textbook pointguard basketball 101 manual) but it's true especially when you are at times your best option on offense and can take over the game.

Many times(especially with the Hornets) Chris Paul is the best option on his team on offense and intead of giving his team offense, he goes out of his way to not look for his shot.

He did that against the Lakers last year.

I also like how he failed to finish last night at the rim with the game on the line and people overlooked it or softened it up because he's this thread's textbook pointguard basketball 101 darling.

Rose or LeBron or Kobe misses that shot and there are ten pages on it.

Funny how that works...

Jester is the worst fielding shortstop in the American league.

Stay salty.

Team sources say Lamar Odom has often appeared stressed by what they believe is the mental burden of an overwhelming offseason.

Being out of Los Angeles, away from his longtime teammates and friends, many of whom he has been close with for the last seven years, has not helped. And the sting of being considered expendable by LA -- Odom was part of the aborted trade that would have brought Chris Paul to the Lakers -- has not worn off.

Asked if he had watched any Lakers games, Odom is succinct.

"I can't allow myself to," Odom said.

"I thought my game was equipped to play anywhere and everywhere,” he added. “I'm not prepared, I guess, to play. I don't know if there is anything more to say."

Lakers dodged a bullet.

John Lucas had a, what, 25/8/8 game last night? Next MVP.

Just to think what he would have had if he hit any of his outside shots:O

He played well, he got to the rim at will and showed good ballhandling.

Maybe too aggressive at times(HE HAS NO FEAR----it was the Wizards after all) but the Bulls were horrible and they needed something.
