Axelsen started well but now he's getting routined. Would be a shame if LCW beats Lin Dan just to lose to Chen Long in the final.

It'll be really sad, but someone should stop Diniz... He just fell, and started again, I doubt he can still think clearly.

Watched the first set at home but then had to leave for work. I was sure that Lee Chong Wei was going to lose, the pressure just seemed to be too much for him. Check when I get in to work and... holy shit, he won!

He just has to win gold now. It's fate.

Diniz is so unlucky, feels like something happens to him at every major event. World record holder yet no world title :/

Yeah he just folded like a lawn chair. Looked bad. I get he wants to win a medal but he needs to look out for himself now. That can't be healthy. Hopefully he knows what he is doing.

i always wonder how people get to those exotic sports. i allready dont know anyone that is doing athletics although its kinda common, let alone racewalking...

We can only hope... There's a pratician that is closely looking after him, too, and he doesn't seem that concerned.

I doubt high-level sports is healthy, in any case, but that may be another level (even if it's quite common to be sick in 50km)

I'm most curious about how someone *starts* learning the pole vault, how you get to the stage where you get up and down without causing yourself serious injury?

It's perhaps the only track&field event where I feel that you need professional assistance to even make a start.

Let's go!

another things is diving. Reporter said its normal for every diver to hit his forehead onto the 10m platform a few times per career...
i mean, omg
just imagine it.

Toth just murdered tallent at the end of the 48th km, and the canadian is closing on the japanese for bronze... Diniz still in it, somehow. Interesting race.

Edit: the canadian passed the japanese, then the japanese pass it again. They hit, and the canadian is nearly stopped for a couple seconds. The japanese is closing on Tallent, then Tallent accelerate again. And now the canadian is half-dead. That's a finish...
