Is Olympic gold not considered prestigious in football?? Why do they send second grade teams??

Nobody basically gives a fuck about it.
It's not important, it's a pain due the already existing packed calender that is to full.
Plus it would steal all the thunder, if they actually send their best teams.

Football is just bigger, so no need to overshadow alot of great sports.

No, but the prestige and attention hve been growing over the last couple of Olympics. And technically it's a U23 tourney so you're seeing younger players, but players like Brandt for example are the best young player the sport has to offer.

Olympic football for men has some rules, U23 except 3 Player, but it isn't considered as prestigious as the world Cup. Don't know why, probably because football became more popular than Olympia

I don't think so
This year Brazil is the only one who is giving some importance to this gold, and only because we're playing at home

It is because both Workd Championships and the Euros/Copa America are every 4 years. With the olympics that would mean that there would be a big tournament basically every year. The clubs paying the salaries would not want that...

This is like when you're playing FIFA and you press the sprint button for too long and the AI just stands there and takes the ball away from you.

The Euro's are also in the same year as the Olympic Games. Players are exhausted from a tournament that finished in July after a long season and then going right into the next tournament in August? Nah.

Brandt, Meyer, and the Benders and a lot more are all important first team players for their clubs. It's not like Germany is sending a youth team.
