Bound to happen. The Rio games were pretty poor from an organizing point of view. A forgettable Olympics where no one was wowed by anything. People will just remember Bolt and Phelps etc. Such a waste of money as well. Tokyo will be good for Japan. Will rejuvenate their national identity and they have world class facilities.

I was skeptical but this was a fine games

I knew this shit was coming.

Well, his nickname does justice, no lie in that...

I have religiously watched almost every major Olympics since 92 as a little boy. I never miss them, staying up late, watching at school, recording events on vcr tapes, dvd, now PVR, using smartphones. During elementary I would stay home to watch during Atlanta and Nagano, buying tons of merchandise, high school was Sydney, Salt Lake, Athens etc. sometimes missing university classes to see events on televisions, during Torino, Beijing, volunteered for Vancouver and was there everyday, attended several events.

This is not a slight against Brazil, or the people of Brazil and Rio. But the games were largely forgettable this time for me. You guys are acting like we cannot say anything bad.
