2020 will be the WORST year for video game discussions, CHANGE MY MIND

Nah, if you spend enough time in threads here you get a pretty good idea which posters are there to have legitimate discussion and who are there to stir up shit.
The ignore function works pretty well to squelch those dummies who are posting in places to create strife rather than discuss.

It wouldn't be if people would just play games, have fun, and not focus so much on their fanboyism and talking about the internal pieces of a console that isn't even close to launching. I hate this time of a generation on GAF, stupid threads every day about what this exec said, about the specs of this box or that box. Hell 2019 is still officially bad for discussions, see the front page of posts today and count the number of console wars threads going on.

Sorry, got annoyed by the other threads I've seen today, I'm off to play some games

2019 was a great year overall for me. Out of 20 completed games, 18 of them were an 8.0/10 or better for me with 2 games being a 7.0/10 which brings down the average. Overall, 2019 was an 8.3/10 which is great. Of course, the more games I completed, the more the average decreases and with the two 7.0/10 games, the average went even lower. The main difference with 2019 compared to the last few years is that there was no God of War/RDR 2 type standout game that simply dominated.

2020 will be amazing overall. Slow start for me but Spring is packed and the Fall will be even more packed with next gen consoles, some exclusives and a shit ton of cross-gen titles. Due to this, conversations and debates will be great as long as all the bullshit stays out of them.
