3 new Pokemon Black/White videos from JP Nintendo Channel

My guess is that they're knee high black socks, just by looking at May's socks, as they are the same color.
But that doesn't make it any better.

Agreed, Sinnoh as such a variety of locations that it's easily the best designed region.

EDIT: Actually I really like Gen IV as a whole, the only bad thing about it to me is that out of the 107 new Pokemon 28 were either evolutions or pre-evolutions of older pokemon and 15 were legendaries. Other than that, it was pretty cool.
 
I like how the inclusion of a bridge in B/W makes my mind go wild

its just a fuckin bridge, yet so weird to see on the series
 
Hoenn is not only the worst in terms of geography, it's also the worst in terms of overall Pokemon. Back in 2003 when I was getting back into Pokemon, I picked such a terrible time to get back in the series because Ruby & Sapphire were so bad I almost dismissed the series as a whole.
 
I skipped Pokemon as a whole during Gen III. It made Gen IV so wonderful because there were so many new Pokemon for me to discover.

The only thing Gen III has over the other gens is the awesome traversal speed. All the 3D and stuff makes the DS games chug. I think.

I might have told myself that Gen III was so bad that i would just drop the series, but in the back of my mind i knew i was never going to stop playing Pokemon games.

Yeah that's true.

Do we know if B/W's battle speeds are better? Honestly, I haven't been paying much attention.

They look really fast, even with all the animations and zooming. Or maybe they seem fast *because* of them. I'm skeptical on how much three on three will slow things down, but singles and doubles look blazing from what I've seen.

Im probably gonna mess around at first too to see the new stuff, but i know ill get tired of it.

Well technically the games never called him anything. Gold was a fan name, although it did correspond to the manga.

I didn't like it either but I got used to it. I'm happy Silver is still Silver, though.

P.S. Andrex, get the new soundtrack. If there's one thing one cannot complain about the anime it is the music.
 
I'll look into it.

Actually of the four main characters, I actually liked Silver's change overall, in contrast to my distaste for Ethan's design* and the replacement of Kris for Lyra. (I've come to peace with both, though.) Silver's first design looked like he badly needed a haircut, Gen 4 Silver actually looks like a kid with a bad attitude instead of some wannabe dork.

*His Pokeathalon look is dope, though.

Plenty of them are throwaway tracks (who the fuck wants to listen to the Pokéflute song?), but I can say I'm quite pleased with the orchestrated pieces (the second Sea song is amazingly unPokémonlike).

I hope we get an orchestrated soundtrack whenever the series goes 3DS.

I'm not expecting them to fix that, but the permanence of HMs makes the games not a Day 1 purchase for me. I need to prepare myself mentally and physically for the burden that they will be.

I blame Pokabu for reigniting my love of all things Pokémon.

Funny stuff: back in the nineties TV Azteca ran a campaign against Pokémon calling them satanic or some shit like that (Pikachu meant something like enemy of God or whatever?), so from then on I had to become a closet-Pokémon fan.
