30 minute interview with Shuhei Yoshida

He teased playing Bend's game, teasing exciting Japan studio titles, him playing the new Gravity Rush game, the new Suckerpunch project, and Quantic Dream's game.

I think this is how its going to go for the rest of the year as far as SCEWWS new announcements:
Tokyo Game Show: Gravity Rush1/2 PS4, Bloodborne Expansion + sequel tease
Paris Game Show: GT7, Bend's game, Quantic Dream's game
PSX2: SSM GoW, Sucker Punch's new game, and
Crash
 
Saw it last night, entertaining interview. Shuhei is just the best. He comes off as genuine every single time because he is.

We are supposed to be getting 2 jrpg announcements from them this year!
Isn't PGW before TGS?

I had no idea SP had something that far along already. Fuck. Second Son was pure fun to me. Still one of my favorites this gen. I NEED whatever the next project is.
 
Saw this earlier, what a tease. Shu played unannounced games from Sony Bent, Sucker Punch and Quantic dreams.......

I think they hold QD's and SP's games for E3 2016. Also, Crash would definitely show up at E3 if it happens.

Isn't Sony Japan also involved in Capcoms Deep Down? About time we get news on that one.

Love the story Boyes had about Shu before he had his daughters, that calling him up at Playstation was refered to a game of Russian Shulette cause you didn't know if you were going to get a nice Shu or the mean one.

Gamescom is in August, TGS is in September, and PGW is in October.
Because of how PGW would be so close to PSX2, I wouldn't be surprised if Sony delays PSX2 to January or February.
 
Shu says that everyone's continued support and excitement for TLG is part of why the game still exists, love it.

Great Interview! His personality seems genuine and he really loves what he does for a living. That alone make me love my PS4 even more.

I really enjoyed this years E3 and it's the first time I really got into it. I had an opportunity to attend the Sony E3 experience in theater and the reactions gave me goosebumps. Really a great experience overall. I give Sony an A+ because of of my perspective and being part of the crowd was really fun. Looking forward to the future.
 
Words used to describe upcoming sony projects:

Media Molecule - "Extraordinary" ----> Dreams
GG - "Epic" ----> Horizon
SSM - "No comment" ----> Game canceled
Sony Bend - "Panic" ----> ?!?

He was right on with MM and GG from the interviews a while ago. I look forward to seeing what 'panic' denotes
 
There were so many highlights about Sony's conference, but seeing Shuhei's ecstatic expression when the lights came on after TLG was one of the more underappreciated moments. He was genuinely beaming at the response.

You are forgetting Everybodys Golf they shown last time in TGS but not talked about much.
 
We need to cross reference all of those teases, all that has been revealed, with all the insiders tease we had over the years, especially Verendus's infamous lists

There have been rumors that Bend are working on a survival horror game. So "panic" would definitely fit.
 
Shu is pretty open with how things work, how come journalists never ask him directly about the cancelled SSM project.

Notice, how he implies they revealed a Gravity Rush project
aka its not necessarily a Vita game
, and when Shu is excited, he sways left and right lmao.

Loved what he had to say Horizon and how GG has been focusing on the moment to moment gameplay. If they nail that down and the story is decent then it looks like we'll have a gem.

Would Graity Rush be considered an AAA Vita game? If so then I would imagine it definitely being a PS4 game since they have stated that there will be no more AAA first party games on Vita.

Heh, ain't that the truth. It kinda felt that was the philosophy when they rushed through Morpheus and Vue during the conference.
