:O crazyness. You must not be too into FPS on the PC then.arne said:bububu i play fps with a gamepad on the pc. /cry

Internal testing is clocking around 8-10 hours.
Not like it matters MULTIPLAYER.

Sure I have, I don't mind if I play for the platform only against other pad players. I probably will end up playing with keyboard and mouse, but if I don't feel like it, no huge loss.reilo said:You haven't played UT on the PC then.
Firewire said:Your talking about the single player right? I wouldn't even have thought it would be that long.
Bonus Achieved!. I've never played a UT game but I'm planning on picking this up instead of COD4, just cause it looks different than most FPS's.
You're misunderstanding me, I think. I'm not talking about what MS policy is, just simply observing that if MS doesn't charge for content that's free on other platforms, as raYne said, that maps that are included in the retail release for PC/PS3 that get left out of the 360 version aren't examples of free content on other platforms.segarr said:Do you have an example of something like this?
It seems that these maps being free would be a logical extension to the plan already in place. if Microsoft charged for this content, and used that as an excuse.....that would be some damn fine semantic work on their behalf.

Granted it would require the shifting of mountains and oceans turning into vast deserts or other random nonsense, but eh I like things to be kept interesting.
Teknopathetic said:Cross platform play would require some give or take as they gimped the PS3 version some for gamepad players.

Hehvilmer_ said:Cool. I'll leave the pad players be then![]()
it wouldn't take any more space on the disc to allow the ps3 version to run in both modes depending on what server they join. ideally, i would like to select "Multiplayer" from main menu and then select "Console servers" or "Global servers" and it would simply use the correct parameters for movement speed etc.Teknopathetic said:Cross platform play would require some give or take as they gimped the PS3 version some for gamepad players.

Until MS can get mouse + keyboard support the for UT3 the PS3 version will always be superior. There are a ton of FPS I'll play without m&k but not UT...no way in hell. Mark Rein should totally announce that the 360 version is going to run at sub-15 FPS and the only playable mode is instagib.
Rein should continue to shit on the 360 version at least until MS decides to step it up and actually give a damn about the game.

For the one that I don't have to pay $5 to $10 extra for each new map pack that the PS3 version will have for retail price.VictimOfGrief said:For which Xbox 360?

ypo said:13 GB on the X360 hard drive, 7 GB on the disc...still smaller than a single layer Blu-ray disc. Heh..
Firewire said:Good way to alienate core console owners without a hard drive. MS made a promise remember, or is that out the window?
sakuragi said:As people mentioned previously, if this game filled up a Blu-ray disk which is 25 gigs of data, then even both the core owners and the Premium users (20 gig hardrive) are screwed. So the only way to play UT is to gimp the content and satisfy the lowest common denominator which is the core users.
