3D Trailers for E3 games up on 3DS eShop

1. These trailers are awesome. Finally seeing these games in 3D makes me much more excited then seeing them at the conference or on the net. Its night and day.

2. Seeing Zelda:OoT in 3D made me get geekbumps. Cannot wait to play this in a few weeks.

3. Mario 3D looks to be really designed for the 3D effects. The overhead stuff is really cool. SOLD.

4. Nintendo really dropped the ball by not including these trailers built in to the system or set up on demo machines. I can't imagine Anyone seeing these and Not being impressed. This is a much better demo then Pilot Wings..I'll definitely share when friends want to see it.

Paper Mario looked incredible in 3D.

I don't even care about the 3D feature that much but it's put to great use there.
I hope video 3D of game is equivalent to gameplay 3D.

I thing this was just a psychological thing... if I recall correctly, 3D videos are only 3D On and 3D Off...

I could be wrong thought.
I just checked MGS3D and you're not wrong. 3D is either on or off.

The 3D in most of the trailers was great, however it seems to me that only Super Mario has 3D on all the time.
For most of the other trailers, I can turn the slider all the way down during certain points and there won't be too much of a difference, but throughout the entire trailer, turning down the slider on Super Mario really did change it up.

Also yeah, the slider position didn't change anything, it was just on or off.

where are the friggin trailers NoE ? damn...

I believe the videos are either 3d, or no 3d. Moving the slider is just your mind playing psychological jokes on you for videos on the 3ds.

NoE = tossers!

If this is signs of what is to come then damn I am gonna be seriously pissed off.

Let's not bite the hand that feeds - we're getting Xenoblade and apparently the Last Story too - America isn't. It swings both ways, and NOE is being pretty damn good recently. Between two of the best Wii games around, and some 3D trailers, I'll take the games.

I was going to say I hope the 3D trailer for OOT is up by the time I get back to England on the 15th...but on that day I'll have my copy anyway - as long as my mum remembers to pick it up from work. heh

Why would they put up LA's but not the trailers, they are supposed to be trying to increase sales, disappointing as usual. =|

All of the trailers look leagues better one the 3DS in 3d than they do in any other showing.

Some of the stuff is pretty beautiful, particularly Paper Mario, Resident Evil, Luigi's Mansion and Icarus.

All of it looks really good except for MSG. Resident evil proves that Konami didn't have to downgrade naked sample, they simply chose too, and I hope they aren't rewarded for their dumb decision.

Capcom > Konami in this case in regards to the main developers.

Resident Evil Revelations would probably be cancelled or delayed if they had to compromise the game.

Seriously how hard is it to get trailers up worldwide at the same damn time. It really shouldn't be an issue in this day and age.

What is NoE excuse for this?

There's an Ocarina trailer on the euro eStore already. It's streamable.
Yeah it's streamable and it is low quality that isn't going to sell games, they need to put the full quality downloadable trailers up.

Yeah, I did mention that.

When I'm saying 3D was "on" for Super Mario all the time, I mean to say that pretty much everything was popping out or had depth, whereas in some of the other games, turning the slider on and off did little to change the experience.
However, it was only during certain portions of the trailer, not all the time (for everything that wasn't Super Mario).

Yeah very cool feature and pretty damn quick downloads too! The trailer sold me on Paper Mario!

RE revelations was cool but it seemed like a very weird video to show, just a bunch of a random clips with a regenerator added in.

I'll still pick it up though.

Luigi's Mansion 2 and Kid Icarus 3D trailers impressed the hell out of me. Stunning. Super Mario 3D looked great too.

Resident Evil Revelations and MGS3D trailers had underwhelming 3D though.

Every single one of these games looked impressive in 2D/3D! This is why I bought this system, soon there will be a huge quality library of games just like the DS has! Now i can get a PSVita and never need my TV again! lol

Are these trailers available in jpn eshop?

Yes. Seems like the same ones as in the US. because it has that damned awful Zelda advert with 'willst thou suck' or whatever.

Honestly, considering the respect and class with which they are treating the 25th anniversary, dragging out that awful, awful trailer seems like a slap in the face.

But I'm *still* re-watching these videos over and over again. Mario Kart really does look amazing in 3D - feels like the second wave. The bit where he's driving on a mesh track and you can see through - if you change the 3D off and on on that section it really shows how the feel of the game changes.

Magical little box of wonder.

I thought the 3D trailers helped the Nintendo 64 reamkes (StarFox, Zelda) the most. It really breaths quite a bit of life into the titles, and I was specifically worried about Zelda.. which I'm not anymore. Mario Bros and Paper Mario look good, but the 3D doesn't add much for me. Revelations looked like crap. Luigi's Mansion looks like it'll really appreciate the 3D.

come on Nintendo! Is there any reason the E3 trailers aren't in the eShop in Australia yet? So silly. Hope they come in the next few days, it'd be nice to show the system off.
Prepare yourself to be let down constantly by Nintendo Australia - they fuck up everything. I wouldn't hold your breath to get these trailers at all, I'm sure we'll also miss out on a lot of downloadable titles/demos and stuff like that. Starting to regret getting an AU 3DS...

So where do I queue up to complain about Nintendo of Europe pretending E3 didn't happen?

E-Shop in Europe is going to suck especially hard, isn't it...

I'm confused about the point card system. 3DS cards are for 3DS stuff, and Nintendo cards are for Wii/DSi. So which do you use to download DSi stuff onto a 3DS?

Revelations looked a little weaker than the rest...though it seemed like the trailer wasnt built specifically for the 3DS for some reason. Like it was brighter than it should be.

3DS cards.

Look at it as the DSiWare shop using the old cards vs. the eShop using the new.

Seems like the trailers don't have the ability to make the 3D stronger, just to turn it on. Am I the only one who noticed this?

That's, sadly, how 3D movies work. You can't adjust the 3D strength like you can in games.

eshop <3 when it's not crashing every few seconds

The 3D movies were a great touch, more stuff like this and demos too in near future supposedly

Ahh, makes me wonder how much more depth we can add to games. Can't wait for Zelda, game looks gorgeous with 3D.

Yeah, Revelations was the worst of the bunch. There really didn't seem to be much of a 3D effect at all.

What happened to Megaman Legends demo being available at launch?

If I remember correctly, it was delayed so they could smooth it out. The sales of it determine if the final version will be greenlit so they probably want it to be the best it can possibly be.

Is anyone able to get rid of the birthdate window everytime you enter the eshop? It's really annoying, i even tried to link my Club Nintendo account, and it's still asking me everytime.

Weird, it doesn't ask me that at all, only when viewing mature rated content.

Are you underage?

Maybe 10 years ago, but not now. :P

That's why i don't understand, i even linked my Club Nintendo account which already have my birthdate on it.

I guess i should redownload the eshop data yeah... maybe connecting a Club Nintendo after the first use wasn't properly tested on their side.

Trailers for Super Mario, Paper Mario, Mario Kart and Luigi's Mansion 2 were incredible. Ocarina looked very pretty in 3D, I might actually keep the slider up when I play that one.
