I dunno, I'd bet they won't even try to port Final Fantasy XIII to the system due to the cart-space limitations...
Just give me V so we can continue the Fiesta on 3d.

They are selling an M3iZERO and R4 flashcarts... I don't think Nintendo would've shared the release date with them.

After this picture i wonder how long they will be able to sell them flashcarts xD

Some Kid Icarus: Uprising details and Sakurai sez
- Depth for experienced gamers
- Team wants to make the game accessible to a widge range of players
- Simplified controls
- Controls rundown: “L” to fire, slide pad for moving, stylus for aiming and camera movement with the touch screen
- Pit can fire while diving to the side
- Some moves from Super Smash Bros. Brawl will be in the game
- Many of Pit’s attacks are being kept secret
- Game officially takes place 23 years after the original
- Final showdown with Medusa
- “Uprising” has three meanings: uprising/revival of Pit/Kid Icarus, the uprising of the underworld army, and the literal uprising of Pit flying into the sky
- No motion-sensing for the main game
- “additional features and attractions” outside of the main adventure

This information comes from Masahiro Sakurai…

“At the time when the original Kid Icarus came out, there was an overall trend of very serious games like The Legend of Zelda and Metroid. But Kid Icarus was a slightly mroe comical, lighthearted type of game. So it was important to maintain that. For example, in this new game, Pit talks a lot as he’s fighting. And rather than being serious and steadfast about the mission at hand, you’ll find him joking and being more relaxed and casual.”

“One thing you might notice in the trailer is that Pit changes weapons a lot. You might even see him without a weapon at all, but with a sort of tattoo pattern on his arm. I can’t go into a lot of detail, but the weapon variation is a very key and interesting part of the game. And another thing to draw attention to is the way that Pit’s shots sometimes curve – that there seems to be a sort of auto-aiming going on.”

“The game has a relatively simple design for a reason: we wanted it to be ready close to launch. Of course, there are a lot of hurdles to overcome during the course of any game development, so I can’t say with certainty that it will be ready at launch, but I’m definitely working with the intention of releasing the game as soon as possible.”

“In a word, I was touched [by the reaction at E3]. A lot of effort was put into the trailer – fitting everything into two minutes and pacing the scenes to show them at the right time; having them match the music, the mood, and achieve the desired effect. A lot of thought was given to how the fans would react to certain elements. So, my most earnest reaction to the fans’ response is that of utmost happiness; I’m absolutely, totally happy about it.”

I figure if you're recommending it they must not suck.

Edit: Now I just gotta wait until they become 120 dollars.
I've been using one for a little over a year. No HDMI, but VGA and DVI, you can buy converters if you need to. Dell.com has them on sale a lot.

Does it have a headphone port or am I gonna have to figure something out?

You will have to figure something out, but it's not difficult. When you actually get one, I can walk you through it via PMs.

I'll keep an eye out and see how things work out with my budget, if I end up getting one I'll shoot you a PM. Thanks!

I thought you were so poor you couldn't even afford food.

Great priorities. Dead serious.

Nah, as an Agent of Satan I can tell you for sure that he isn't the Devil.

You know, one thing that irritates me in games is terribly implemented walk/run animations. Specifically, I'm talking about animations that don't match the speed and amount of ground they cover to the animation that is currently being used. Like the character takes one normal step, yet they move a huge amount of space. I think the term some use for it is "skating". The reason I brought it up is because, well, it could potentially be even more terrible now that we will be given an even greater sense of depth and placement perception. I'm hoping this won't be too much of a problem on the 3DS, because it can suck me right out of a game in an instant :^(

I've thought about making a thread on walking animations...maybe later...

Well, that's a programing issue, not a hardware issue.

I mean...
Look at Too Human.

Looking at the Kid Icarus trailer, I couldn't help but wonder how the close-ranged and long-ranged modes will work. I guess it will be like Sin & Punishment (enemy comes close, double tap to slash). Also during the part with Cerberus, the reticle changed shape, which leads me to believe there will be live weapon changes. Maybe mapped to the face buttons

I understand where the issues are, I just hope that it isn't carried over to the 3DS. I'm sure there will be at least a few games that don't pay it any mind, but some instances which are considered decent by today might not look so hot once the added depth and perception comes into play. It would look extremely, er, artificial. Disconnected would be a better word...it would look extremely disconnected, more so than it does in 2D.

I mean, Too Human would look God awful if we could actually see it in 3D. Well, more God awful :lol

Walking speed in Twilight Princess is orgasmic.

I'm very interested in hearing more about the combat and weapon variation. I only hope that since they are simplifying a few things that the combat system is deep. Besides that I can't wait.

It doesn't look to be very in-depth. Sakurai said he wanted the game to be simple. I expect it to be as deep as S&P

Anyone else worried about Kid Icarus using a similar control setup to Metroid Prime Hunters?

While precise, that method is cramp-inducing :/
