Playing doctor is more about curiousity about the differences between girls and boys. Again. Not really. There were plenty of times were kids would kiss each other's genitals and stuff like that. I had friends that lost their virginity by the 5th grade.

Nowadays all it takes is 0.005466 seconds in google to show a kid every possible thing they need to know about shit like this. And since we were all kids we all know that where there is a will, there is a way to get exposed to shit like this no matter how good the parents. Iphones, Computers...the internet is everywhere and the wrong term will expose someone to everything. All it takes is one vid and they will try to mimic. Where I grew up it was very much beaten into our heads as kids to pursue girls as much as possible. Part of our culture in a way. Like I said already though because of that we don't think much of situations like these.
 
The weirdest I ever got was jerking off in the same room as my friend while he jerked it. It was his idea and I didn't think it was very fun.

Yes but "exposure to sexuality" can be as benign as seeing parents engaged in intercourse or porn left on dvd/computer. Imitation is how we all learn.

i didn't do any wierd or remotely sexual shit as a kid...fuck, i barely did any as an adult, but then again i was raised catholic so that probably explains it. If my parents would have caught me playing doctor they probably would have called a priest over for an exorcism.

I want to know what the parents of this 9 year old girl have been doing to get their 9 year-old daughter to blow boys in the library? Something fucked up going on in that household.
 
A 3rd grader giving head is a bit extreme but yeah kids have been playing doctor since the beginning of time.

It usually happens when one kid gets a little too much information than he normally should and then he tells his friends about it. But since they're kids, they have no context of what they're saying or doing and it's pretty harmless usually.

I remember when I was around 8-10 years old, a few of my friends did "I'll show you mine if you show me yours". And then a few of them bumped privates and proclaimed they had sex. :lol I wasn't messed up by it and neither were they (I think). No one derived any sexual pleasure from it. It was just kids being curious.

That said, parents these days need to be more mindful of keeping their Internet on lockdown with their kids. As already mentioned before, with a few errant keystrokes and Google Image, kids can get exposed to all sorts of crazy sexual acts & fetishes.

Uh, I knew a damn lot about sex in the third grade and no one ever abused me. Kids talk.
