Is this the same naughty dog that said "there is nothing that can be done on the dreamcast that can't be done on the playstation 1"AKS said:"Uncharted" and "awesomeness" are practically synonyms thanks to Naughty Dog.

The zombies in RE4 are more fun to combat than the pirates in Uncharted. I guess every enemy has an "AI" of sorts, but you know what I mean.
WTF, seriously ... WTF!?TTP said:Please make sure you include all languages on the European disc just like the first Uncharted. It has always been the case with Sony exclusives, but the lack of an English language option in the continental Europe version of inFamous got me scared.

Just saying zombies are boring...RE4 is good for PS2, but when you see the same AI in RE5. My word, it's shockingly bad.Rez said:Oh wow, RE4 hate. That's a new one. I thought it was like Paul Rudd; impossible to hate.

...You have a preference for uniform and repetitive encounters then?

Yeah, I subscribed on the 14th. I'll wait a little while before I email to Sony.RockmanWhore said:Not really related to the awesome video, but I've subscribed to qore before may 15, shouldn't I have received a Unchrated beta key by now? Where should I complain if so?
That's what I really liked about the leaked gameplay vid a while back. There was a gun fight going on in the middle of the street, and then without much prompting it was left up to the player to find the correct route up the debris through a nice little platforming section. I'm hoping the rest of the game plays similarly to that video.kevm3 said:I just hope Uncharted 2 is more integrated than Uncharted 1. My main problem with Uncharted 1 was the isolated nature of the gameplay systems. Puzzle time... story scene... shooting scene. I hope it's more cohesive, where you don't 'know' that it's 'shooting time'. Or you have to shoot some enemeis while attempting to solve some puzzle. It took out a lot of the suspense in some of the darker areas because no enemy would ever really 'surprise' you. I'd like there to be isolated encounters. You are walking down a dark corridor and an enemy jumps out at you from nowhere. Other than that, I found it enjoyable.

I know everything about is awesome, but the fucking cover system and shooting just feels so broken to me. What's wrong with me GAF?

inb4 I suck at the game (I've play plenty of shooters without any issues at all)
It took me three goes to 'get' the game, now I love it. It felt off to me when I first played it, but it came together eventually. It's a slower pace than most shooters, but still more of a shooter than a platformer. The gunplay did feel off initially, but now it feel fine, don't know why.-PXG- said:I am going to buy Uncharted for the third (and final) time sometime tomorrow. In regards to going in and out of cover and shooting, Uncharted 2 LOOKS like it much smoother and Drake's reactions are more in point.
Can you sneak around and take your enemies out like in Metal Gear or Splinter Cell?SolidSnakex said:It's optional.

Wasn't GT5P even worse then that? Ie. one language per-SKU.ChryZ said:WTF, seriously ... WTF!?
Like what was shown in the video? Not sure if you could complete the whole game like that, but there are definitely sections to do so (as shown.)U K Narayan said:Can you sneak around and take your enemies out like in Metal Gear or Splinter Cell?
Because that would be cool.
Yes. Like in the video. That would be really cool. Gives you multiple options on approaching a situation.deepbrown said:Like what was shown in the video? Not sure if you could complete the whole game like that, but there are definitely sections to do so (as shown.)

Well yes - that approach will be scattered throughout the whole game. It's up to you not to be seen. you'll see that Drake has a different stance when he hasn't been spotted, meaning you can carry out stealth kills. He even shows he's trying to be quiet in his facial expressions. Very impressive IMO.U K Narayan said:Yes. Like in the video. That would be really cool. That's the reason I've held off on buying it this whole time. I always feel like a price cut is just around the corner.Totobeni said:HELL , Uncharted still not budget title /greatest hit in NA ?

Having different versions is fine, but any disc should at least also include English. That inFAMOUS thing is pure madness.arne said:Fingers crossed, as the current plan is to create one disc with all localizations on it, so you should be fine.
Seriously. Bravo animation team!stuburns said:The visuals are ridiculous. This is the best looking console game so far. The animations are insane as well.
