Oh, the Skunny games... "CopySoft" indeed, every single one of those games was a blatant ripoff... in this case, of Wacky Wheels. Of course Wacky Wheels was a Mario Kart clone (and a great one), but Skunny somehow ended up looking ... well, a lot less original. Decent game, but Wacky Wheels was better.

BioMenace, Jill of the Jungle, and Hocus Pocus were good too. Not the best of their kind probably (Duke Nukem 1 and 2, Keen, Cosmo, etc.), but good...

I also should second Future Cop LAPD (though I had the PC version, it's the same as the PSX version -- including the awesome split-screen multiplayer). Scorcher too -- that was a pretty good game... hard, though!

I'd also be remiss if I didn't mention Netstorm again.

Maybe the epitome of weird games. You had to sidescroll in a maze to find an exit. If you didn't, the lights went out and the screen became black. Still, it had some charm and I liked it.

This game was actually the first "real" sequel of Bomberman by Hudson, which tried to mix up and add new elements to the formula; it was imho a good start, even if flawed (too slow pacing, batteries thing, NO PASSWORD making it almost unfinishable), too bad later Bombermans were all the same...

meh, its ok. As far as railshooters go its by far my least favorite / played. Panzer Dragoon and Star Fox both smoke it.

Very addictive, I loved this game.

Me and my friends used to play this all the time. I lent it out once and the guy then lent it to someone else who moved out of the country with it

Decent is the right word for it.
Insane amount of imagination & art was put into the design, but the everything else so so mediocre.
Tiny overworld/town, poorly designed dungeons & pretty much no polish.

this looks extremly good for a first generation ps2 game. Unfortunatly i never played this one.

Along with Silent Hill 2 and Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver, Shadow of Memories has one of the best stories ever conceived in a video game.

The development team of Shadow of Memories included some members of the original Silent Hill team, ie. Gozo Kitao was a producer in both of them.

Talking about the game, gave me an urge to play the game through for the third time.
