$5 off your next Gamestop purchase

I did it 5 times today and came out with $50.00 worth of PSN cards for $25.00 (TLOU). I'm going to do it another 12 times tomorrow split between different stores. $120 PSN for $60.00. Destiny and COD will be mine this year for $30 a piece
So did you just buy 5 separate $10 cards from the same place? Were you able to use multiple coupons at once?

Wouldn't mind using both for when I pre-order tomorrow. Trying to remember if those coupons can be used for pre-orders or if you have to wait until you pick the game up to pay for it with said coupons. I'm assuming you can since the $## off coupons on Powerup Rewards don't mention anything about pre-orders not being allowed.

Yes I bought 5 seperate $10 dollar cards. At first the CS rep was saying it wasn't going to work but I asked him to amuse me and it worked. It didnt work on pre orders though.

Does this work on used games?
I don't see why it wouldn't. Doesn't say anything about not being allowed on used games. Just as long as it's over $5 in cost, it should be fine, I'd think.

I'm planning on heading there tomorrow, so I should be able to get the exact details. If I can't use them to pre-order Akiba's Trip, then I guess I'll grab some eShop cards in preparation of the Capcom VC titles.

Got a $10 eShop card for $5. Thanks Mr. Flandy.

Wait, but the thing says one per customer...

Alright, so here's what I found out:

- It will NOT work on paying for pre-orders unless you use it when you pick the game up, meaning considering the coupon expires on 8/3, your options are going to be rather limited.

- Despite telling him people did it online, he said it did NOT count towards eShop, PSN, etc. cards, as "the manager originally allowed it, but now they're not suppose to"

- He DID say I could use more than one coupon on 1 item (though "it depends on who's working the counter") so I could have gotten $10 off on an item using both coupons at once.

I feel as though I'll try again a different day when it's the guy that I usually see (it was someone different), or I'll see what happens if I try to use the code online code won't work online.

How long does it take to get the coupon emailed to you?
It should only take a minute or so.

Trying to decide if I should print one more coupon for $15 off. Of course, if I do, watch as the other guy working at the counter will decline using all of them on one item.

Just got back from gamestop. Couldn't print out the coupon so they just typed in the code for me.

$4.99 for Sonic ASRT or Typing of the Dead: Overkill (before coupon), fwiw. Debated getting one or the other, but walked out with a Starbucks card.

Used my $5 coupon to get the 360 version of RE 6 for less than $4 so it will be interesting to finally see what all the hubbub is all about.

Bump this thread. I purchased a Wii U accessory pack for $4.99 and used a copy of of Madden 08 in the bargain bin for a $.98 filler.

I left the copy of Madden on the counter, paid $.98 for the Wii U accessory pack lol.

Is this deal over? All is see is Gamestop power up rewards points? I am using a different email so I can get another 5 bucks off Last of Us. Did they shut it down?

Just got four $10 PSN cards from Gamestop. Guy did four separate transactions for me. He said regular Gamestop coupons don't work on PSN cards but the Kongregate ones do.

If I had more iOS devices, I'd grab more.

Man, WTF. Wish the cashier at mine would do it. I went back in last night, but it was the same cashier as before, so he wouldn't let me use the coupons on the cards. HOWEVER, I was able to get 2 more coupons from a friend since he couldn't get eShop or PSN cards as well, so I got a "new" copy of Wonderful 101 for only $10.50 since he allowed me to use all 4 coupons on the game, which makes me happy.

Part of me wonders if I should print out one more (think I've got one more e-mail I can use) and see if I can get a card at a different GS since I might go out of town over the weekend.

Do they sell iTunes cards at GameStop? I highly doubt it, but I know they have a lot of digital currency.
Yes, they do, for both the app store & iTunes itself. I've seen them in $15, $25, a 3-pack of $10 cards, & $50.

Guy at counter said this didn't stack with TLoU trade in deal.

He seemed nice but not sure if he was a lying cuz I preemptivly said no preorders or warranties

Guy at the counter actually got pissed off that it worked, but whatever. $10 eshop card for $5.

Going to probably get more at other stores this week.

can someone post the link to the website they put in their emailed coupon codes. All I got was an emailed code for a coupon and not an actual coupon. What am I supposed to do with this? Will gamestop just take the code if I give it to them? Thanks.

Downloaded the app today but redeeming the coupon ended on 7/30. Now I have a shitty game on my phone and a Kongregate account for nothing.
Thanks for falling on this sword for me.

*closes Kongregate tab*

I'll just pay the half off TLoU and be done with it. lol My first PS4 game without a PS4.

Does anyone know if it's possible to get the offer to pop up more than once on the same device? That's the only thing stopping me from getting more at the moment.
