Sorry for the giant update! I really procrastinate updating in this thread because all of the bolding and underlining gets extremely tedious after a while. I really am putting in a lot of work with the books! And with the films and televisions series . . . well, I work at a video store and have Netflix - so that's pretty self-explanatory! With that said, I'm pretty proud of myself so far.

Also, there are a few books I may want to count as two, but for now I'm just counting them as single books. I'm also gonna throw a couple graphic novels that I have in mind into the mix soon.

My personal goal of reading the Wheel of Time series is complete! At the start of the challenge, I didn't think I'd even finish the series until early 2018, so I'm beyond thrilled to have finished in just 6 months time. Sanderson's different writing style was a much needed breath of fresh air to propel me across the finish line - not to mention so many plotlines finally coming to their ends.

Looking forward to some lighter reading moving forward; certainly won't be diving into any mammoth series for a bit.

Wow, you were able to stick with that to the end? I watched it for 20 minutes or so and it was making me feel insane and sick and I had to turn it off. When they revealed how it was made it totally made sense cause I was thinking to myself while watching it that this feels like different movies and cilps pasted together.

It was a struggle to finish it. Mainly because from start to finish, I was trying to figure out what Jaguar Wong had to do with the plot. As no ninjas ever came to attack him and he never mentioned the gold statue. Nor did the woman he was coming for had anything to do with it.

The cartwheeling ninjas and robots were worth it. Laughed so hard at those parts.

The first two I enjoyed. Quiet felt like a slog, and was a chore to get through.

Well, by creative accounting I've read more books than I did last year! I have the rest of Abercrombie's books lined up, but thinking I should read something else for a break. Also finished the visual novel The House in Fata Morgana this month, which was pretty damn good.

Transformers wasn't that bad if you just roll with the plot.
