Don't fret too much over this man. I don't know how long you've been reading thesse forums, but GAF is almost like a IRC channel due to how fast stuff is posted, and since there are all kinds of people from all around the world here 24/7 there will be annoying and stupid people, but there are also very nice and intelligent members, and that's what's keeps me coming back. More than once I found myself rolling my eyes to the back of my head reading certain threads, and getting involved in the discussion trying to set things straight or to clarify some points made me had headaches.

In the end I try to not pay much attention to the stupid posts from people who act high and mighty (those are worse than trolls to me to tell the truth), and when I notice I'm getting too "internet: serious business" I even stay away from the place for a while. I don't think I could stop coming here at all though, believe me, I tried. :lol

It's gravy dude. Just wasn't gonna settle for "You can't post here junior" When I read all the faqs and terms of agreement. So Yea, only made an account because of my new office job and I happen to be a gamer. Thanks for the heads up though.

Same here. Unless there's something pretty crazy going on I usually will only browse GAF at work. Although there are some reasons behind it, pure "anti-Juniors stance" doesn't make much sense when some of the most negative and flaming players in this forum are old timers. Anyway, cheers.

I think I waited something like one year for my approval, each few months I mailed a couple of admins. Then one dat I notice I could post.. And create threads too. I waited so much I went from not approved straight to member. :lol

This was supposed to be addressed via database changes but that's been put on hold, so I'll be bandaiding it with a RAM increase to the database server to ensure that there won't be a catastrophic failure during E3.

Yes, it's EXTREMELY annoying, and it's not going to stay this way. Don't worry and try to be patient.

The rules say you're not supposed to mail admins about your junior status and when it changes...so I never have.
