the recent localization announcement of Project x Zone got me thinking about the 6 degrees of separation with relation to videogames.

the theory states that everyone in the world is indirectly connected by at most 6 degrees of social networking.

basically, john --> jim =

bob knows jim

degrees: 6

with the rise of crazy crossover games, such as Project x Zone and the upcoming Megaten x Fire Emblem, i feel like the 6 degrees theory could potentially apply to games as well. allow me to give an illustration:

Luke from Professor Layton --> Sparkster from Rocket Knight Adventures

You can sub Raiden for Metal Gear Rex who shows up in the LBP MGS 4 dlc and that keeps it at four with no technicalities.
