Creating a RottenWatch thread for an upcoming movie? Perhaps you're creating a thread for an upcoming LIVE event? With this handy utility you can do more than just display its date and time. Generate a special PNG image you can embed in the thread that will display both the time of the event along with how much time remains until the event occurs. Each time the image is loaded, it shows precisely how much time is left. When the timer reaches under one hour, it turns red. Once the event occurs, it shows the date and time you selected.

Actually...a feature request you may want to consider is adding timezones outside of the US.

Bug: for my selection, it was adding an extra hour, i.e. I had to put 8am to get 9am. And now that I look at it, the number of hours in the count down will only go to 8am, not the displayed 9am. Don't know if it has something to do with DST.

Depends..
LOST wont come more quickly because i live in denmark, so if it would be implemented for premieres for stuff you would need to code in the date and time for each country and do some geo-stuff and time-zones.

But new years eve will.

But it is awesome!
