Ck if you were a chick I'd so do you right now!
Well, not to backseat code or anything, but you could "sanitize" the user tag on the server side when you grab the page from GAF.ckohler said:I fixed the issue with Chrange's posts. He has crazy HTML in his tag. I had to make a special exception.
Not sure what causes the user titles to stretch in Opera Mini. At least it works.![]()
That's exactly what I'm doing. The tricky part is that in order to find a user's tag in the HTML, I have to navigate the DOM and because some users have bad HTML in their tags and others don't, the DOM is inconsistent. It confuses the library I use to scrape the DOM. It's tricky.Elfforkusu said:Well, not to backseat code or anything, but you could "sanitize" the user tag on the server side when you grab the page from GAF.
Limit the number of characters + strip HTML = no problems!![]()
It should look right now. It was because you have periods in your username.J. M. Romeo said:Anyway, my username appears as J. Any ideas about that?
quoting myself here....do you have a website with a changelog, ckohler?mattiewheels said:i haven't been able to use this app in months....what are the improvements you guys are seeing today?
That is a bummer. I use subscriptions pretty extensively as well.TheGreatDave said:Posting with the web app unsubscribes you from a subscribed thread, similar to Mobile GAF. I use subscriptions extensively (By default I subscribe to everything I post in), so this is a bit of a problem for me. I'll log out for now and just do it the old way.
The next update will have this. I already have it working.Captain Nemo said:That is a bummer. I use subscriptions pretty extensively as well.
Edit: Yep, was just unsubscribed to this thread. Wonder how difficult it would be to add the Thread Subscription drop down bar. Still love the App, but yeah.

You don't actually download anything with this app -- it's all done through the web. Juice is working on a downloadable iPhone app separate from this.John Harker said:So then how do I download it to my BB? Sorry, I just got one...
You first have to download a new video card.John Harker said:So then how do I download it to my BB? Sorry, I just got one...
The webapp is accessed by a weblink. All you need is the link. On the iPhone you can make a weblink from the home page. It also has it's own icon!John Harker said:So then how do I download it to my BB? Sorry, I just got one...

The native app is Juice's.Bowser said:I don't know if you've addressed this yet or not, but is there anyway we could get the user control panel on the web app? Or is that something that could come with the actual app (are you still gonna try to submit it to the app store? I remember they rejected it once). Either way, as someone who has used the web app since day 1, these new upgrades are sweet and all the work you've put in is much appreciated!
Oh my bad. Can you rundown the main differences between the two?RubxQub said:The native app is Juice's.
Both apps are awesome.
The lines are starting to blur with ckholer's latest update, but in the end it comes down to the interface.Bowser said:Oh my bad. Can you rundown the main differences between the two?
