The webapp doesn't use any of the benefits of saving it on the iPhone Homescreen yet (optional fullscreen viewing, offline cache etc). That would a good place to start and see if the native app is worth it.mrkgoo said:I this works then sweet, thanks.
I never disabled it but did a full restore recently so maybe that reset it. Thanks again!
Madvillain: I dunno, but I never felt like it would add much to te experience so I was never that excited about it.

Side note, despite switching on the option to show the name of the last poster, it's not working on subscribed threads page. Is anybody else experiencing this?

I spent several days tinkering with making a true web app version that works completely outside of Safari. While it's kinda neat to see it fill the entire screen, I noticed immediately that there are drawbacks. For example, when you launch the app it always starts you back on the main menu so you always loose your place. This is especially frustrating when you want to open a web link from a thread which leaves the app and opens Safari. Returning puts you back at the main menu. I tried to have it remember your last place but this got sketchy if you were, let's say, in the middle of making a post. If you want to leave the web app at the post screen to copy some text from another web page or app, you can't simply close the web app and return to the post screen like you can switch tabs in Safari.Charred Greyface said:The webapp doesn't use any of the benefits of saving it on the iPhone Homescreen yet (optional fullscreen viewing, offline cache etc). They always give reasons.red shoe paul said:I'm surprised they didn't give a reason why it was rejected. I would've asked why so it could've been removed and re-uploaded.

mrkgoo said:Why is this necessary? It's designed with the iPhone in mind with very iPhone-like aesthetic and colour scheme.
I suppose there are a whole bunch of potential users who don't even realise that they can use it, however.
Yea I am curious of this as well.red shoe paul said:I would like to see a screen shot or picture of the web app on a Nexus and Android.
Are you looking for pics of the web app running strictly on the Nexus One, or running on any Android device?red shoe paul said:I would like to see a screen shot or picture of the web app on a Nexus and Android.

There is one - it's the "Page X of Y" button at the bottom.y2dvd said:Is it possible to add a page jump feature?it's not fun going 10 pages back, one page at a time, in those 50+ page threads.

Hit the '>' next to the thread title.Neuromancer said:ckohler, would it be possible to have an option to let you jump to the last page of a thread right when you go in, instead of the first page? For example, I always want to jump to the last page of my subscribed topics without having to load the 1st page. Anyway just an idea, I don't know if it's feasible.

That's pretty much identical to how it looks on my Nexus One.

You don't have to put app in quotes. That's what it is.MidnightScott said:Wow I just got this "app" for my iPhone 3GS. I didn't know it existed, this is so awesome. Thanks for making it ^_^
