The menu on the left isn't something that's used often so there isn't a reason it needs to be displayed 100% of the time. It's just taking up space as you read a thread. A better method might be to have a menu (represented by a thin bar along the side) that you can slide out from the side when you want to access the other sub-forums or your profile.Copernicus said:

Well, the idea is that when you choose your thread to read, the left panel is replaced with the list of threads from the selected forum seciton, and the right panel is replaced with the actual thread content. Just like most multi panel email apps on tablets work. So that you minimize page reloading the higher level list.

I apologize if this has been requested before/denied, but I was wondering if a feature for copying the link to a specific post could be added? It is the one thing I always find myself wishing I had. I have to go to the main GAF site, find the post, and get the link from there every time, and the main site loads reaaally slowly on my phone.

It's still there. And there's no thread whose title is excessively long or something like that.
Chkoler had that years ago but could never get it to work properly so he removed it. What I'd like him make it do is go to the page with the latest posts, instead of always going to the last page. Majine, your ideas are neat but probably not realistic. In particular, scrolling in multiple panes/frames is not that simple or very elegant within webkit.

Just tested with it and it breaks the UI in the same fashion as the screenshot. It only fits "Football/Soccer/Fútbol/Fussball/Calc" without scrolling to the right.
