Thanks.
Use dolphin hd as your browser. BAM, problem gone (and dolphin is a far better browser too)optimiss said:The android posting bug is super annoying. Any chance of a fix?

It's not simple with the current way things work. For one, you've got to realize that it requires the browser to scroll to a specific part of the page. However, the moment images and other things load above the current post things get out of whack and you're no longer looking at the right post. Secondly, vBulletin does this weird redirect thing in order to find the right post. I have an idea on how to work around this but it's going to have to wait until I have time to write the next version.sruckus said:I've been asking for this too. Maybe it's too difficult to implement.
I've changed the way the post screen works. It may help but it might also hurt some people when they try to scroll the textarea box. People on older iOS devices for example may have trouble scrolling the area you type the message. We'll see.optimiss said:The android posting bug is super annoying. Any chance of a fix?

Posting from my Optimus 7, working fine for me.Meus Renaissance said:No longer working for me on Windows Phone 7.
It's working for me. Make sure the website preference, in IE Settings, is for the mobile version not the desktop version.Meus Renaissance said:No longer working for me on Windows Phone 7.
Probably not necessary. Don't think it'll be a regular occurrence.kottila said:Would it ve possible to include polls as well?

It works for me on my iPad so I am guessing it will work on the Fire as well.. I know that Silk is a new browser so maybe it's a toggle or something to recognize it as a mobile browser? (I'm surely oversimplifying things)CzarTim said:Any chance we can get Kindle Fire support? It says "only mobile devices are allowed".

Seconded. Tried to get in with Kindle Fire, got rejected.CzarTim said:Any chance we can get Kindle Fire support? It says "only mobile devices are allowed".
Was thinking about this too. Would be great if this site is still functional post update and later adds support for the new features. I haven't browsed on the regular GAF site in ages, but some of those features are nice.Kermit The Dog said:I wonder if Chklor will have a contingency plan in place once the new GAF update fucks up his coding?
I need the user-agent string.CzarTim said:Any chance we can get Kindle Fire support? It says "only mobile devices are allowed".
The web app will be down when the upgrade is happening. It will be take a little longer after NeoGAF.com is back up before it works again but I don't expect it to be to take very long. I'll post a warning until it's ready.Kermit The Dog said:I wonder if Chklor will have a contingency plan in place once the new GAF update fucks up his coding?

Just something that irks me a little...
ckohler said:Honestly Sentry, I don't think iPads really need this. This exists to make NeoGAF usable on small screens but the iPad screen is plenty big.
His goal is to make it easier to read on phones not to necessarily have everyone use it all the time because neogaf then isn't getting ad impressions from us. I always stick with his version on my iPad though fwiw.LCfiner said:It may not be required, but it's still better than the main site.
Where can I find this?ckohler said:I need the user-agent string.
