It's a new year here at Firefly Studios and with it comes fresh releases, projects and updates! We're kicking off our post-Warlords content here on YouTube with some pretty big news and although we're light on details for now you can expect much, much more in the coming months (and years) as we dive into our exciting plans for the Stronghold series, Romans: Age of Caesar and more. What plans you ask? Well you'll just have to carve out seven and a half minutes to watch our 'Firefly in 2022' update in full, as we speak as candidly as we can about the future of the Stronghold series and Romans: Age of Caesar, which will be expanding it's empire onto Steam and mobile platforms this year.
With development now fully wrapped on Stronghold: Warlords and the Ultimate Edition releasing in just a few days on February 14th 2022, it's time for the Stronghold team to regroup and plan ahead. Feedback on Steam, Discord, YouTube, elsewhere on The Internet and of course from our massive Stronghold Player Survey - which thanks to you had thousands of detailed responses - has all ensured that the future of the series is a secure one. Your feedback and reviews have all suggest we're on the right track when it comes to our plans for Stronghold, which thanks to the success of Warlords has been secured here at Firefly.
So while in terms of releases 2022 will be dedicated to our MMOs, with Romans: Age of Caesar launching and continued support for our massive Kingdoms player base, we will of course be providing updates wherever possible regarding the future of Stronghold. The team here at Firefly is incredibly excited about where we can take Stronghold in terms of design and tech, so stay tuned this year for a few tasty teasers on that front as soon as we can confirm them.
