Yep it really is. I sold my copy not just cos it was hard. It's just a grind using characters I hate lol. The only vita title I won't 100% so far

I really liked the story, but the gameplay is indeed not up to par with the PS3 versions because of the touch stuff. Then again, if you finish the (touch) puzzles one time you don't have to complete them anymore on subsequent playthroughs. It's just jarring how they decide to break up the flow of the game to introduce that stuff.

The shooting and platforming is still great though.

I think I'll see if I can pick it up used/cheap. I was just ignoring its existence. I do still have an unloaded MGSHD and SoundShapes to even start playing on Vita. Not to mention HSG and VT to work for trophies on.
I really love my Vita.

Until my "you cannot fund your wallet/buying error" on PS3 fixes itself I'll be playing my Vita (Dungeon Hunter and Gravity Rush) and my 360 backlog (Homefront SP).

I'm on the third world, seems easy and fun enough. Getting a medal on each might be a tad frustrating but if there's a video guide it's probably easy.

You get the PS3 Stardrone too if you buy it.

If you had a lot of trophies,that's actually fairly common. It will error out a bunch, but just keep going at it and it will eventually sync them all and be fine.

It's not hard, just tedious. Reason being is because you have to play through all three difficulty levels, as they do not stack.

I picked up all alarm clocks in Alan Wake - The Signal, but it only shows 9/10 in the statistics.

I double checked it , I definitely picked them all up, but one didn't count apparently.

Did anyone else have this problem ?

Also if I have to move my save game to do them all again, do I have to play through the whole game again in order to play The Signal ?

Repeat till dead, knee, head the other 2 and repeat laser. Only took 4 tries to get tht down. And last boss was as easy as ever. I feel so good right now.

Best Buy is having a super secret sale, and I am going to score as many titles listed and additionally as I can. Now that I have reliable income, I can purchase sale games without feeling guilty. Sorry to see this happened, and that it affected you so negatively. =( I hope you keep posting here. Even though I'm not a PS3 gamer I still love seeing everyone in the thread, including you, talk about making big progress with completions.

Got a good streak by platting Ratchet HD (aka nonactively grinding bolts to a milli, scared of a second YLOD in this hot weather lol) and Ratchet 2 HD as well.

I first got introduced to Ratchet on PS3 via the R&C Future series. It was really hard for me to play the first game without stuff like strafing and the ABYSMAL checkpointing. I was getting Jak collection flashbacks jeez. Though I had to remember this game is 10 years old now. How far we've come....


Ratchet 2 was WAAAAYYY better already and resembled the current PS3 games much more. I got right in the zone with that game, used the great Skillpoint/Bolt guides from PS3trophies.org (great job on those, user Ben-Gun!), and grinded out the max bolts quite easily for the plat.

Kinda burned out on Ratchet this month because I played A4O, Ratchet 1 & 2 pretty much back to back. Gonna save Up Your Arsenal for later, probably taking a bite into Asura's Wrath since that seems to be a somewhat laidback experience (gameplay wise).

Also been pleasantly surprised by Stardrone Extreme for Vita. I can recommend it to anyone because the mechanics are solid. Graphics are simple but functional and the music is good. Still need to complete about 12 levels and then cloud sync for that glorious 15 trophy pop on PS3

Man congrats. How long did it take?

Total time around 5 days, 21 hours (from first trophy till platinum).

Actual gameplay wise - well the last 6 playthroughs took around 3 hours each. I got the "all flashbacks" trophy during that, which meant around an additional 2 hours for that playthrough.

The BBE was around 3 hours 30 minutes, but with a bit of restarting. For chicken (first playthrough) I left my PS3 on for 2 nights and 1 day (switched it off inbetween).

Finished BBE on friday (started on thursday). 2 additional playthroughs on friday as well. 3 yesterday. And the final one today.

without having to go to work during the week, I would have been way faster


btw. first achiever was a Japanese player on thursday 6am. And it seems that one copied his save for some other Japanese players, which they used to get platinum right afterwards (someone at ps3trophies saw it on a forum).
